Oh my what can I say!?!? This was hands down the best experience I have ever had in BCS. Everything was absolutely on point.... Steaks cooked perfectly, delicious sides, appetizers were delightful, dessert was phenomenal and cocktails were amazing. Theservice was so smooth and on point I didn't want to leave!! I can't imagine this place getting anything but 5+ stars. If you'reinto 5 star dining and you haven't been to Republic you have missed the train good friend!! Read more

Wow...probably the best steakhouse I have ever been to. The ambiance? Excellent. The service? Attentive without being... overbearing, sophisticated without being pretentious, helpful, and VERY patient. Our server Heather was top-notch, and I wouldrecommend requesting her if you have the opportunity. The food? Absolutely incredible...the filet nearly melted in my mouth, andthe sides (especially the mac and cheese) were outstanding. Underwhelmed! We had high expectations based on the reviews! 3 stars for the classy ambiance and nice lighting! We were seated... promptly! The food is sadly more of a 2-star for the price. We did not order steaks, so maybe that would be a better choice, butwe were thoroughly disappointed with both non-steak entrees. Food lacked quality, finesse and creativity and even care. Theybrought complimentary bread and butter which consisted of one small piece of bread per person!! This place is resting on itslaurels. Sorry, can not recommend! Read more

I ate basil pesto and fish dishes, but basil pesto is better than fish dishes in my opinion. Grilled oysters are always a good... choice, and my favorite dessert is peanut butter mousse cake. Choose medium-cooked lamb racks over medium-rare. The lamb rackwas extremely tender and tasted perfect. Fries also taste good for us. Their service was thoughtful and friendly. Read more

Came to town on business was able to get a seat. Had outstanding service from Joseph and a very nice dinner. I went with the... Sirloin with Shrimp Beurre Monte topper. We shared their generous sides with the table and got the Bacon Roasted Yukon GoldPotatoes, and the Brussel Sprouts. I was very impressed with the drink selection. One of the coolest things I've seen is theirbourbon bracket game they play. They match various whiskey's against each other and the selection costs $12 to play and you gettwo of the current "teams" playing. You tell the waiter which you like better, and place your vote. Once you vote, they tell youwhich you got and the winner moves on to the next round the following week or bracket. Super fun, and had some great newwhiskeys I hadn't tried before. I had dinner here for my anniversary and the service was TERRIBLE. Our server, Kennedy, greeted us and seemed knowledgeable... about the menu, but looked too preoccupied with cleaning her section over 2 hours until closing time and then was nowhere to befound. I asked for a drink menu, she brought it to me, but never circled back to ask if we wanted one. This wouldn't have been aproblem, had she not taken our full meal order and vanished. She didn't drop off any of our food, but after waiting 45 minuteswith the worst fried calamari I've ever had, she came to our table and asked if she could box it for us. I said it was fine, butwe just wanted to know how much longer on our meals (pasta and a medium rare steak). After she collected our plate to box it up,she immediately turned around and asked another table if she could remove their dirty plates, while holding our food on the sametray????. You should NEVER have edible food plates and dirty plates on the same tray, especially not from 2 different tables,that's not health code safe, nor was it covid safe. The food finally came, delivered by someone else of course, my steak wasslightly overcooked and the pasta was disgusting. We didn't see Kennedy again until we had to flag her down for our bill. Shelater came back with the boxed calamari. I informed her that she took my food to another table, had a conversation, and then putother people's soiled plates, next to mine. She just stared blank and said okay, and walked away. No apology. The oysters weregood, the dipping for them was mediocre. The calamari was mostly crumbs because they were cut into half inch pieces and overcooked, it was like eating fried leather. The pasta was grainy and bland. The steak was overcooked. I only gave 2 stars becauseI did notice that the other servers in the restaurant were good servers to their tables. But I won't be back. Read more

Beautiful restaurant, great service and amazing food, what more can you ask for. I recommend sitting at the bar it's just much... more fun. We were there to celebrate my nephew's graduation. We got 2 appetizers which we found out was one to many they arevery well served. We ordered some cocktails and they were really really really good. I might drive three and a half hours forthose cocktails they were that good. We ordered some steak and went with a topping for the steak recommended by the bartenderhe did not disappoint it was delicious. Sadly we had no room for dessert I bet it would have been fantastic too. On Wednesdaynights they have live music and it's great. Read more
