Went to the movies for the first time in 3 years. Figured I would take the family to the movie tavern. This theater has really... gone downhill. The menu has changed & the choices are poor at best. The prices are crazy. The food quality is maybe 20% of whatit was pre-pandemic. They forgot some of our order. For 3 people I spent $137.00 (no alcohol), & it was subpar at best. Go to anice restaurant, have dinner, & then go to the movies; it will likely be cheaper, better food, & an overall better experience.The movie tavern was nice when it first opened - not even close to what it once was........ Order-from-chair was a bit chaotic. Pressed the service button 1 hour before the movie ended. Took the waiter 30 minutes to show... up, and the movie ended before we were able to get our food. Couple seats were extremely close to the screen so we basicallyhad to look straight up at the roof to watch the movie. It was super comfy though and we had a blast watching Minionsnontheless! First time at this theater and I got to say it was very nice, very clean! The theaters were also very clean and seats were... obviously comfortable. My only complaint is that it was very warm inside the theaters, uncomfortably warm. I always expect it tobe chilly so I brought a hoodie but most certainly did not need it! Read more
I like going there, they have cheerful young people running the customer service. The place is 3.5 out 5 for cleanliness. I like... how they can provide you food and snacks while you watching the movie, highly recommended movie theater! Read more
I really want to give 5 stars because the updated seats are great, and the food, drinks and service are really good as well, but... the price (especially for a family of 4) is quite a lot for a movie and dinner. Great experience, but we'll just have to go lessoften than we'd like to. Read more
Came to see Spider-Man on a Saturday around noon. There weren't many people and they were mostly well behaved. The seats are... very comfortable and fully recline with leg rests. We sat in seats G10 and 11 in the large theater 6. It was just a littlefurther back and higher than I prefer. Row F is better for my tastes, but Row E might have been good although it is primarilyfor disabled patrons. Centerline appears to be between seats 9 and 10. All seats have pivoting tables with a cup holder and abutton for summoning service. There is a selection of food that can be ordered and the staff tries to get it all taken care ofbefore the movie starts. However, it can distract and interfere with the movie experience as people order things during themovie. We only had pretzel nubs with dipping cheese. It was actually above average for movie theater food and came out hot,tasty and almost perfect texture for chewing. Parking can be difficult to find near this theater since the mall is setup like asmall town downtown. We chose this theater because it was the nearest to us, had comfortable seating and had a early showingthat minimized attendance. Yes, I am a boomer. Read more
