This is my second time at JR?s. This time we came in Mother?s Day 2018 we rented the private room(Worth it). The food was... good,the server bless his heart did so well with the 9 of us that night. (It was his last night there so we got lucky). Thecocktail was well mixed. It was a $500.00 min for the private room it has a tv in there and a little slide door privacy.Thesever we had helped us choose the best wines that would go well with our meals. Haven't been to JR's for about 8 years, so I was looking forward to my visit. The service was real good and our waiter... attentive. Calamari was delicious! However, after our entrees were served, went downhill. I ordered the Plank Salmon and after afew bites, turned out mushy and and raw inside. The Manager came over and she also noticed it. So, she took it back to thekitchen, along with the side of asparagus. Meanwhile my dinner companion's meal was good. After a few minutes, the same piececame back, minus the part that I ate. WHAT! Not even a new piece of Salmon. So, I tasted a few more bites and still not done . Igave up. The Manager said she would comp my beer and wine. Why? Nothing wrong with that. Had to pretty much ask for my entree tobe complimentary. She agreed. After dinner, they did bring over some cheesecake. Nice touch, but we both are not dessert eaters.In addition, they kept telling us happy anniversary.It was not our anniversary. The couple next to us was celebrating theirfifth wedding anniversary. After the bill came, I noticed I as overcharged by $2.00 per glass for my wine. I brushed it offand to be honest, just wanted to get out of there. Sum it up...overpriced for what you get. The atmosphere was warm and our food was perfectly prepared. I got a simple bacon cheese burger that was delicious and finished... the meal with their famous chocolate cake. Gentlemen, if you ever need to please the sweet tooth of a lady, just bring her aslice of that cake. You won't regret it. Read more
