We had a wonderful time here. We came after a move and the Whiskey Rita really hit the spot! I also got Mariano’s enchiladas... which were the best enchiladas I have ever had! Cheese filled and topped with steak and chili! The rice and beans were also verygood. The service was also really good in the bar. Very attentive and friendly staff. We loved the atmosphere here. Definitelyrecommend stopping in for lunch/dinner and getting some of the famous chili! All the food is well worth it being a little morepricey than most Tex-Mex options for the quality and portions. Excellent drinks, tasty and heavy pours!! They have about 2-3 entree items that are go to’s for me - the grilled chicken... fajitas, spicy blackened chicken verde & the Mendez. The chips and salsa are good & as well as the service. Best Tex Mex I’veexperienced in the metroplex. Read more
First time here today, will be a repeat customer. Came here today for lunch and had a little meeting. Staff was great, food... delicious, and waiter was on top of everything with out hovering. When I was leaving I dropped my phone and didn't notice mystylist/ s pen fell out. When I got home I noticed and called them up to see if anyone found it and turned it in. The girl askedwhere I was sitting and went and found it and held it till I could get back up there and pick it up. She was very helpful. Iwill be bringing my family back to eat here. Read more
We had dinner here last night and it was hands down the best dining experience since before the pandemic. The parking lot was... full so we expected a wait, but got seated immediately. Immediately the atmosphere and unique aesthetic of taxidermy walls and hostesses in cowboy hats makes you feel like you are in... for an experience. Our server for super friendly and quick to respond. While the smoke from the kitchen was a bit much from thetable we received, it was caused my the countless orders of sizzling fajitas. The place was packed both inside and outsideseating which is always a good sign. The margaritas we ordered we strong but a little small for our liking. Not the best queso Ihave had, but the rest of the food was spot on. Everything was well seasoned and delivered hot and timely. Fresh hot chips andfree tortillas were a nice surprise. Delicioso ! This is good tex-mex made with quality ingredients! The place was crazy full when we got there and for a good... reason. The poblano was delightfully spicy with well seasoned chicken. I really like the handmade tortillas used for theenchiladas. The La Ha Shrimp was nice with its bacon wrapped shrimp and the side of substitutes veggies. The kid's enchiladawith the homemade tortilla and topped with chili is a kid's dream. The rice and beans sides did not falter either. It was wellflavored with lard I believe but it wasn't heavy. We had both pinto and black beans. The Mariano cheese was addicting; we werefull before we got our main dish. Fyi. The place does get pretty busy. It was a nice day, so we enjoyed lunch on the patio. The service was excellent! The margarita was very good and looked pretty... with the lime garnish. I tried something new and had the Spanish Style Tacos, which were amazing! I had them with Rancherobeans, grilled vegetables and rice which were all very good as well. Read more
