So happy to see this restaurant back in operation! This was one of our favorite local places before the fire that burned it down... while the building was being roofed! And then, of course, the pandemic! They have an excellent menu that includes both thetraditional pasta, lasagne, etc., but also some dishes that are more what you'd find in Italy as main courses -- fish, lamb, sweetbreads, veal, etc. The service is great and the atmosphere is calm and classy. Recommend it highly. Read more

Yum! It?s been over 29 years since my husband and I have been to Ruggeri?s in Dallas, TX. I know because he proposed to me... after this wonderful dinner we had all those years ago. We decided to give it another try again in Colleyville because this isthe week week of our 29th anniversary and it did not disappoint. I had the lasagna and my husband had the special ofcannelloni. We started with a Caesar salad that came with some delicious bread and olive oil and spices on the side. I had thelasagna and it is probably the best I?ve ever had. Green spinach noodles with sausage and beef with a béchamel and marinarasauces. It was not overly cheesy: in fact not sure it had any cheese. It had such rich and delicious flavors, I did not missthe cheese. My husband got the special of cannelloni made with veal and spinach. It was divine! A little pricey but so verytasty. We finished with a solid tiramisu and ordered a bottle of a Tocana red Sangiovese wine. We will definitely be back. The best part was the owner coming by and checking on us and giving us suggestions. This restaurant has seen some rough timewhen their original location burned down before Covid. The ambiance was not the best but not bad. However, the food andservice was exceptional. Highly recommend! Read more

Small Restaurant with exceptional service and food. Live music on piano and they take requests. Higher end on prices and well... worth it. Very personal with the owner always visiting with guests. Very classy. Parking can be found down the street - alwaysseem to get the last open parking spot. After eating here many times, I can reassure you this is a top notch place. Everythingthis great. Attentive wait staff. Exceptional service. Read more
