Had dinner tonight at Sagami and ordered the chirashi bowl and a miso soup. My mom had ordered miso soup also and unaju which is... broiled eel. The eel was absolutely delicious and the sushi was average if I?m honest. Some pieces of sashimi were definitelybetter than others. Presentation was amazing and the atmosphere was also really nice. Honestly I would only go back for theeel. Read more

More pricy than expected but the food is good. Eel rice can be a bit overwhelming (too sweet), so avoid it if you can?t handle... sweet meat. Awesome staff! The waitresses were really nice and made us experience a home-like dinner Read more

It?s underneath a track overpass and by a wide road. That said, the food was amazing. The fish was great. I do wish they got rid... of the slightly mildewy smell in the air. I still highly recommend. Read more

*HIGHLY RECOMMEND* This place was recommended to me by a friend and it is hands down one of the best restaurant to go to for... Japanese comfort food. We drove from Philly to New Jersey for this restaurant that sits alone next to a main road and it wasworth it. The interior has a traditional Japanese style to it, with low ceiling and wooden everything. Very cozy. Food wise, forget about the sushi, the gems of this place are their hot foods, dishes that I'd consider Japanese comfort food that justwarms up your soul with every bite. I loved every single one of their hot dishes. Great taste, great portions, and greatprice. DINNER Hamachi Kama (yellowtail collar) - not on the menu but you can ask for it. This grilled yellowtail collar isgrilled to perfection, with a crispy skin and super tender meat. You can taste the freshness of the fish. It's simple yetdelicious. Agedashi tofu - I've always wanted to try this dish and it was pleasant. The tofu was fried on the surface, and thatfried portion soaks up the sauce just enough to complement the taste of the tofu. The sauce was umami but not to salty, you candrink it with the tofu. I treat it like a soup almost. Nasu Shigiyaki - the eggplant was huge. Chicken with miso taste wentwell with the steamed eggplant, the eggplant cut some of the umami taste of the chicken miso so it works well. Interior was veryhot, be careful. Chirashi - pretty standard chirashi. Fish is pretty fresh. *VERDICT* I would DEFINITELY come back again whenI get the chance.' Read more
