The most consistent Italian restaurant that is always comes up as one of my top recommendations in the area. I could go just... for their made in house bread, but I also look forward to their specials every visit because they always knock it out of thepark. Will continue to be loyal until I can find something better for lunch in town Read more

We ordered the pumpkin ravioli and appetizer barone to start. For lunch we order the eggplant ravioli, zuppa di pesce,... insalata Mediterranean. Everything was delicious! Even the bread with olive oil and spices was yummy! The restaurant isbeautiful inside and the outdoor decor and music is perfect to enjoy a great meal. Our waiter, Jack was very polite, accommodating, and knowledgeable. Great service, atmosphere and food ! Read more

Ordered takeout on a Sat night. The Napolitano pizza, once reheated at home on a stone, was pretty good, and worth the cost, but... they completely lost us on the appetizer. We ordered the insalata caprese...and that alone was enough to turn us off entirelyfrom this place. At $16, first problem was there was ZERO spring mix present (mentioned in description) and the container wasover half empty! There were 3 slices of tomatoes and mozzarella, about 5 olives, 2 slices of prosciutto, a big pile of roastedred peppers, 6 cut artichoke hearts, and a sprinkling of sundried tomatoes. Ok I like all those components individually, theartichokes were well seasoned, the sundried tomatoes were disjointed and unnecessary, the tomatoes were mushy? Likely fromrefrigeration, and the mozz salty good. There was no dressing, just oil...but they gave us a huge bag of rolls????? Why would weeat rolls when we already had carbs in pizza? Why charge more than the price of the pizza for an app that was missing the saladin 'insalata'? While the interior was pretty, and the place busy, I drove 20 minutes for a pizza I could have gotten closer tohome and a salad that wasn't. I wish it had been so much more, I had high hopes of loving the eatery to make my sister have anew fave spot, as she's a local. Read more

We were here for a party with a limited menu. Atmosphere was comfortable. Limited menu (for the party) was very good. BYOB... allowed. Worth a return visit if it wasn't so far out of my home territory. I liked what I had, but without having anopportunity to explore the full menu I can't say that I loved it. Read more

Took my mom here and she loved it! The rest of us did too. The food is excellent and the portions are very generous. Villa... Barone does something that I haven’t seen in a long time and that is including salad and side pasta with entrees. Everythingwas delicious and we took home enough for another meal. Collingswood, NJ is a dry town so BYOB! Liquor stores can be found ashort drive up the road toward Haddonfield, NJ. Make a reservation in advance: I find that this area of NJ has a very socialvibe and going out to dinner on Friday and Saturday nights is a regular occurrence so without a reservation, you may be eatingat 10pm or not at all. Absolutely amazing experience! We've become recent fans of Villa Barone and our first in-restaurant experience only further... solidified that! As usual, the food was absolutely iconic, ESPECIALLY the pizza and the shrimp, and our waitress was extremelyattentive and punctual. This place has become our new spot to eat whenever we all link up and it's practically part of ourreligion now ???????????. Our waitress was even kind enough to let us recreate the photo from our first review of this place, sothank you for that! 10/10 would cross the Ben Franklin Bridge again for this pizza! Continue taking pizza seriously, guys! We'll be back! Read more

First time here. Calamari Fritti, Eggplant Parmigiana and the Zuppe was delicious for sure 5 stars but the Penne Tartufo was not... fresh as my other orders, was looking like frozen food from microwave walmart meals, not bad but not a restaurant dish. Besidethis the staff was pretty friendly and the restaurant have a great atmosphere. Read more

Definitely go there for a date or when you’re feeling fancy. The ambience and feel of the place along with the server... experience were all great. We tried the Linguini Frutta Di Mare, Tagliatelle Cacio e Pepe and the Calamari Fritti. I try theCalamari everywhere and this was definitely made with care. The only thing I was missing was a little bit more seasoning. Thebread was also fresh from the oven. I asked for my Linguini Frutta Di Mare with a garlic white wine sauce and it turned outgood. The Cacio e Pepe was a bit too strong for our taste. Things to note: Their sodas come in glass bottles so no refills. Read more
