Great service and atmosphere. Had the fall licous price fixe menu and my partner had the tenderloin. Food presetation was... beautiful but the flavour was just ok, with my snapper being too salty and my drink too sweet. Flavours weren't well balanced.Dessert (pear trifle) was the redeeming feature and it was not too sweet and various plesant textures. The robotic host waskinda cute and unique. Read more

We have read a lot about this restaurant and had heard it from friends as well. What we should've asked I guess was what they... ordered. We didn't have a reservation but it was okay as we were seated right away. We had their soup of the day which waspotato and bacon and it was okay. As for the fish and chips, we hoped it would be good given its price. Maybe their other dishestaste better. Maybe next time. The parking lot will be no problem, they have huge space for that. The place is clean and youcan make a reservation for your future trip. Read more

Decided to stop here after someone mentioned the great ambience. The inside of this restaurant is amazing, people were well... dressed, it reminded me of being in Florida or the Caribbean at a resort. The patio has some great breeze and is nice. Weordered 2 burgers and ceviche. The burger was cold, not room temperature, but rather cold. Not sure how or why. It was underseasoned as well. Definitely not worth the price. I swapped the fries for a mini salad. When the bill came I was charged $6 forthis miniature salad whereas I thought it was a swap for the fries. If I knew I would have just kept fries and bought a salad. My friend said the ceviche was just ok. Generally it is a very pricy place but I?m guessing ppl come here for ambience or arestaying at the hotel. May only go again for a drink. Read more

We came to Lakeside because we were celebrating our 6th Anniversary and my birthday. Our servers name was Joe, but if anything... went wrong it's Dave. Lol. He was very nice, helpful and he arranged for a complementary dessert with candle. He didn't singthough, next time. The food was so delicious. I had the 10oz NY striploin and wifey had Shrimp Penne. We also had appetizers,Spring rolls and Seafood Chowder. Food very good and the restaurant looks over the marina. Lots of windows and a nice view. ThenJoe told us about going on the rooftop for a really nice view. It was a beautiful dinner and evening. Thank you Lakeside andJoe. Bubba.????????? Read more

All week I've been craving lobster. So, we found the only restaurant that has lobster on their menu. Thele restaurant is... situated lakeside, with views of the Bay. The decor is beautiful, it is bright, and you can speak without yelling. Now thefood could definitely be better. The oysters were from PEI, if my memory is correct, and was great! The surf'n'turf, $185, wasdisappointing. Everything was overly salty, the aju and the steak, the seafood balls, and the shrimp, were all incredibly salty. The lobster seemed under cooked, it really did not make me smile. The vegetables and mashed potatoes were great! Thewaitstaff, Holly, was great, very personable, with a good sense of humour. Read more

The only place in Collingwood for good oysters. The interior is pretty chic & cozy, there?s a nice wine cellar as well. The bar... area is very modern and they carry a good selection of liquor/wine. The main course was delicious and fresh as well. This is ourfavourite spot in town for seafood ???????? Read more

We're member of the resort so we decided to have dinner there last week with our stay. Ordered Cajun calamari and Harvest salad.... Both good. For main course, we ordered the very pricey Beef Tomahawk Steak for $190 which includes mashed potatoes and someveggies. We've had it before and enjoyed it pretty much. This time though, no! The steak tasted and smells of burned-out ovengrease that splattered all over the meat. Someone forgot to clean the oven I guessed. I'm a cook so I know. I told the waitressabout it but she just shrugged it off.we hardly ate it and took it upstairs and let my other daughter sample it and she said thesame thing. Tasted like burned oven grease. For that price it's very disappointing. Almost $300 for the bill, no pop or alcohol.Total waste of of $190! Leftover steak we gave to someone else is in the picture .. Read more
