My family and I dined at this location on Saturday night. We had the pleasure of being served by Melissa. It was quite busy in... the restaurant, but Melissa made us feel like we were her only customers. It?s been sometime I did not dine at Montana! It was quite a pleasant surprise to see their diverse menu! The food display &... taste were very good???????? I was extremely impressed with the fish quality of my fish & chips! A thick piece of a fleshy whitefish, rarely observed in such a dish. It was juicy and done to perfection. If I was basing this review on our server only, I would have given 4 stars or more. She was assigned to work behind the bar and... not the patio during dinner, but she was attentive, friendly, efficient, and checked on us frequently. When we were firstseated, it was a bit odd that the gentleman at the front (the manager?) implied that because no one was specifically assigned tothe patio, efficient service wasn't guaranteed. I understand that it was busy and we were possibly being squeezed in, butthere's probably a more tactful way of saying that service could be more hectic/slow as a result. The food was decent; those inour party who ordered the ribs enjoyed them, and the kids were happy with their meals. My steak was cooked well but the coleslawunfortunately had a hair in it; my server was kind enough to get them to comp my meal as a result, which was a nice gesture. Read more
BAD !! Who has ever been to a Montanas and told they will not be able to serve us?? The kitchens closed??? Instead we should... have been informed there would be a wait 29-30 minutes. But never ever have we ever been told they can?t seat us. This isextraordinary unprofessional. There was no sign on the door saying closed. Absolutely upsetting and rude!! Read more

Went there for dinner last night at 6pm. Table of 6 Waited 15 to get drink orders. When we ordered food it was simple orders.... Chicken fingers, burgers, fries etc. 2 dinners where messed up and gave us a dish we didn't order. They went back. We waitedanother 20 minutes to get our food. The food was cold. The gravy was sent back 2 times because it came cold and like a clumpythick pudding paste both times. Eventually the servers stopped waiting on us. Offered no refill on drinks. The heavy setbrunette behind the bar in the pink Hoodie was talking poorly about us to the drunk guy at the bar and staring at us sointensely I wanted to walk over and ask if there's anything I could help them with. It also was not busy. There were only 8tables in the restaurant and most of the staff was standing around gossiping. It was honestly the most unprofessional pettything you could do as a staff member. It was my daughter's birthday. Our moods were fantastic when we went it. We had anamazing time as a family but don't recommend Montanas in collingwood. We are out for lunch right now at Montanas in Owen soundand our experience here is 100 times better! Read more
