Food was great. Service was a little slow and understandable I think they are short staffed. We had the platter for 2 and had... to take food home. The salad bar was a very good touch. Walking up to the door I noticed a sign that said please be "patient we are short staffed." So I walked in expecting to be... waiting at the door for a few minutes. When I walked in I saw that there was only one table that was currently occupied, thewaitress/hostess was in the back doing something, I'm not sure what as her back was to the door, and she was hunched over atable. I stood there for 10 minutes, possibly a little longer. At one point she looked back directly at me and then turned backaround to the table. I was never acknowledged and I ended up walking out. I was running a 42 km run from wasaga to collingwood and back and I got thirsty so I stopped at Rock Dell and I had some water... with ice and a Pepsi with ice served to me and I asked how much do I owe you and she said nothing ... that was a really nicegesture from the owner and I continued running .... Hoststess was a perfect poster child for what not to do. 1st eating a plate of food at cash when we entered 2nd had some random... person come in and sit at the front counter and continue to do nothing. 3rd floss her teeth her station for all in therestaurant to watch. I'm not talking about a tooth pick. I'm talking about doing her entire mouth. The food was not very goodeither, most meat was overcooked, dried out and tough to chew. Read more

Although we had to send our steaks back to be cooked longer the meals were good. The portions were very large that's for sure.

Old school steakhouse takes me back to the 80s. The main dining room needs a facelift, but gave me a nostalgic feel that made it... charming. If you're in for a very large dinner this is the place to go! Entrees come with salad, soup, and bread! The portionsare HUGE and the prices are very reasonable. Definitely worth a try. Read more
