Tesoro you make it worth our visit to Collingwood!!! Love the intimate ambiance to enhance our dining experience as well as the... excellent service from Max! Hubby and I shared a delicious Caesar salad to start that was a fine combination of flavours welove, garlic, bacon and cheese! The spaghetti and meatballs were absolutely delicious and the Cioppino Hot Pot was a dish thatI will definitely get again next time. It was full of fish, scallops,, calimari and shrimp all in the most flavourful seafoodbroth with the perfect mix of spices and tomato purée. Yummy!! Read more

Amazing spot for Italian eats. Mussels are amazing. My only complaint is I never go anymore because they are not open for... lunch, and my wife and I usually do lunch not dinner out. It would be great even if they opened one or two days a week forlunch. Friday or Saturday maybe. We miss going. Brad and Dana Walton Read more

What a delightful find! Old school charm. Red and chrome decor. Food is so authentic, you’ll swear you’re in NYC. But get... reservations because they’re always full. Read more

My wife and I are in town on a weekend getaway for our anniversary. Being of Italian descent, we both love dining at Italian... restaurants whenever we get the chance, and our expectations are high. On this night, Tesoro was a disappointment. We chose tosit inside and they sat us very close to the kitchen, so the atmosphere was quite hectic actually, with waitresses, bus boys andhostesses running all over. Our waitress was very pleasant. We received our Caesar salad quite quickly and it was delicious!!Our beverages (chocolate martini and two glasses of wine) were also very good and served in a timely manner. Our main dishes, however, were another story. There was an unexpectedly long delay before they were served. They were busy, I get it. Butstill, we found it to be far too long. My wife had a bow tie pasta dish with artichokes and shrimp. She did not like that dishat all. The artichokes ruined the dish in her view, and the shrimp were smaller than anticipated as per the description in themenu. The waitress/manager gladly took this meal off of our bill, which was appreciated. My Lorenza pizza, although servedpiping hot, was not good. The crust seemed to be over cooked and was very crunchy, like an over cooked freezer pizza crust…like cardboard.. Although flavourful, it was a huge disappointment. This is NOT wood oven pizza, folks. It’s just baked inthe oven. FYI. The dessert my wife ordered was thoroughly enjoyable… vanilla ice cream with espresso and kahluha. I hopeyour experience is better. Read more

While I enjoyed my meal immensely, I had some issues with the service to my group. When making my reservation, I had to phone... twice to receive a call back. I found that there were significant wait times between when our server came to check in on us. Wehad long wait times between finishing our appetizers and then putting in our mains the subsequently dessert and drinks. I foundour server to be curt and not overly friendly to our group. Read more

Consistently delicious & a welcoming atmosphere. Chef Tony never disappoints with his creative masterpieces. The Curry Mussels... are a staple and unlike anything you have put in your mouth! One of the best restaurants in town! Read more

I would give 3.5 stars for the food but an extra half star for the dessert. The place is nice, we ordered a lot of food (220$+... bill for 4 adults and a baby) A few things I noticed : 1) I specifically requested a table with a heater since it was a chillyevening. We got the table but they were out of propane and the waiter recommended ( nicely) that I should cuddle my spouse ifI’m cold and brought me a cup of hot water to drink. 2) The bruschetta was decent but I wouldn’t recommend you spend moneyon it. 3) We waited for 45-50 minutes for our main course… That’s a lot for someone sitting on chilly evening on a patio. 4) The Chicken supreme was a 30$ dish- good food , really yummy. I got the Ariabiatta , it was a Little spicy for me.. 5) Myfriend loved the tiramisu and I enjoyed the molten lava cake very well. I think the place is overpriced for sure but has goodand average dishes.. Read more
