I bought a chili and bun for a takeout lunch. When I opened the bag at home there was half a bun that looked like it was half... eaten (ripped in half - not even cleanly cut). My sisters and I decided to go to Tim Hortons on First Street in Collingwood, As a former Director of Food and Beverage... Operations in a multi million dollar food service I was appalled. The place was filthy with trash overflowing from bins. In aseating area by the fireplace coffee and trash all over the floor and dirty tables. The store was not busy and had 4 staffmembers working with no attempt whatsoever to clean up. Totally unacceptable and a heath department down grade waiting tohappen. Read more
I went to this location this with some family members. The service at the cash was fine. However the rest of the restaurant was... a disgrace. After only finding dirty tables we thought we would sit around the fire, when we got close we saw a large puddle ofchoc milk spilled on the floor and we couldn't sit there. We settled for a dirty table. When we were leaving we couldn't evenput our cups in the garbage can because they were all full. This location is disgusting, I will never go there again. Read more
Ordered chocolate chip cookies. Received peanut butter. Didn't look, gave it to my grandson who has a peanut allergy. He... questioned it and gave it back to me. Thank God his parents have taught him to check. Makes me sick that I assumed somethingthat put him at risk. Tim's needs to learn, speed doesn't matter if the order is wrong! Just received terrible service at the window this morning. One of the girl asked me if I ordered coffee and I said no then she... gave a huge attitude. I told her that I ordered 2 Harvest Farmer wraps only. When she gave the bag to with angry face then Iasked for ketchups and she asked me did I asked for it then I said yes. At this time she told me that she did not take my order.I was blown away when she told me that. Also I called the manager and complaint. I took the family to Tim Horton's at 5:45 pm today for dinner. No sandwich combos appeared on the screen. When I asked where the... sandwiches were, the employee looked at the screen with surprise, and verbally told me the options. She did not fix the screenproblem for future customers. After ordering, I went to the washroom. Two washrooms were permanently closed and the other onewas locked. Instructions said to get the key from an employee. Same employee couldn't find the key, and assumed that someone wasin the washroom. When I went back later the key was there, and attached to a broom handle so it wouldn't get lost or stolen.Tacky and awkward. When I got my turkey bacon club sandwich, it wasn't on the usual baguette bun. It was instead on a smallsquare bun. When I asked about this, the same employee said they were out of the regular buns. You'd think that if a customer isgoing to get a sandwich that is 60% the size of what he's used to at Tim's, the customer should be informed first! This is notthe standard I am used to at Tim Horton's, but perhaps this is the new standard. Read more
