Twist was an amazing experience, everything from the quick service to the amazing food and drink provided. The establishment was... classy but also a very fun night for myself and my friends. Mary (our server) was so kind, patient and an absolute delight todeal with, herself and the rest of the staff did all they could do to ensure the best time possible for our party. Longest dinner service ever yet half our food came out cold. When asked by our guest of honour to clarify what was going on, the... manager was incredibly abrasive and rude. Super unfortunate as our server was wonderful and the atmosphere was lovely. Read more

This is my new favourite place at the village. ?Threesome? is hands down the best cocktail on a menu. We came for a girls night and the evening started out great. Our server Ryan came by and took our drink order and came back with... the drinks very quickly. After we got our drinks, it took a huge turn for the worse. We ordered an app to share and two entrees.The app was hummus and naan bread which shouldn?t take too long?. After being seated for an hour and having no app, we trackedour server down and he said our food was coming up next and that the kitchen was backed up because there was only one chef. Ourentrees were ready before our app so we decided to cancel it and just take the mains. The only reason this review gets two starsis because we enjoyed the mains (even though the chicken sat in the window and was not hot when we got it). We then asked themanager if we could order our wine with him and he said he would get our server rather than just taking our order. We finallygot our wine after we finished our dinner - not ideal. When we finally asked for our checks, Ryan apologized for the badservice, we sympathize but at the same time, it?s not acceptable when a cocktail costs $18.00 and we are paying for theexperience. When we had paid our bill we realized that the app was still included on the cheque. When we asked for change backwe only got the cost of the app ($14+13% tax) back, rather than all of our change.. seemed kind of weird. It worked out that ourserver gave himself over a 25% tip? We noticed that we were not the only customers who were unhappy with their experience andwill not be coming back or recommending Twist.
