Excellent Bar-B-Q especially the burnt ends, the award winning ribs, and the fried green beans. Honestly everything you get... here is great flavored, large portions, and high quality. Very friendly and helpful staff. Read more

This place was pretty good. I think they should clarify that their ?pulled chicken? lunch platter is actually just a chicken... thigh and leg piece. If I had known that, I would?ve just gotten pulled pork or something else. Otherwise, a nice selection ofsauces and sides. Read more

Well, this was actually my very first time at this restaurant. It was my very first time at the restaurant, overall, because... even though it was in Collinsville, Illinois, I had never gone to the restaurant on the St. Louis side, either. But that'sneither here nor there. As you'll see from the myriad of photos I took, the food and exterior of the restaurant are prettygreat. But let me get to the food, since that's the main purpose of this review. Overall, for my first time visiting bandanas,I will say that I enjoyed the food very much; it was actually pretty tasty. The fried okra that I ordered was lacking in a bitof flavor. I added some salt to the dish; that sort of helped to enhance the flavor a little bit. The beef brisket andpulled-pork were both delightful dishes. I also thought that the baked beans had a nice, smoky flavor to them. Even the frenchfries were not bad. Where the restaurant went kind of "wrong" to me was the presentation of the whole experience overall. Inparticular what I'm referring to is the men's restroom! I guess I assumed that since the exterior of the restaurant was so neatand clean, and pretty immaculate, I also thought the interior would match. You'll see from a few of the photos that I took thatthe interior of the restaurant was not perfect; but it was not terrible, either. It was the restroom that brought me all theway down to three stars. If I could have given them three and a half stars (3.5) I would have done that instead. However, Googledoes not allow for half star points. The server was pretty amazing as well! Unfortunately, she was not wearing a name tag andtherefore I can't mention her, here, because she didn't wear one. She was very friendly, though. But maybe the restaurant doesnot require name tags of its staff; I really don't know. Is it a restaurant that I would visit again in the future??? Hmmm...Iprobably would. Aside from the dissatisfaction with the cleanliness of the restroom, I see no reason to not go Read more
