I enjoyed my meal at Colton?s. It?s equal to other chain steakhouses. They did a good job of medium rare on my sirloin. The... salad, sweet potato, peanuts and bread were all good. Great food. Very friendly staff. Reasonable pricing. We went in yesterday, Sunday 8/7, around 1 pm. I got the Sunday special... which is a half chicken fried with 2 sides for 13.99. You can upgrade your sides to premium sides for a dollar more, which Idid. Everything on my plate was very good. The chicken was really good. Our server was very friendly and helpful. Service was exceptional. Waitress was attentive and professional. Unfortunately steak came out cooked incorrectly. Sent back and... came back out in correct again. Chicken sandwich was undercooked and also sent back. Portion size for 10.99 plate vs 18.99shrimp and steak. Not sure about the macaroni. Food was absolutely delicious! Atmosphere was laid back, but still steak house. Staff were quick to service us, and our drinks... never ran empty. We both ordered steak and they were tender and juicy. We also got an appetizer of BBQ wings, and the saucetasted homemade. It's super close to several hotels, and we will definitely be eating there again the next time we come to St.Louis area! Cannot recommend them enough! Read more
