Oh yes please!!! We have lived in collinsville for 14 years and just stopped and ate here for the first time ever. Wow just... wow. The hot link, the rib tips (honey flavored bbq), coleslaw and Mac and cheese blew my wife and I away. We are going to callthe owners now and give them kudos and see if we can buy some of that bbq sauce somewhere. The mac and cheese especially has alittle kick to it which I have never tasted. Going to be going back here many more times in the near future for sure. We got alot of food and a cobbler desert for just over 20 bucks. We got 3 whole BBQ dinner meals extra side and two big desserts for $50 where other places would have been $100. The price is... great and the Food is even better. The woman at the drive through was also so sweet. I have lived near this place for 3 yearsand didn?t try it until recently because it was so small but I underestimated it. The spicey sauce was on point, brisket wassome of the best I had. Mac and cheese was yummy but could maybe be a little better. Baked beans were delicious and the caramelcake was to die for. I don?t like cake and donuts but I had to steal the cake from my boyfriend. Try it once. Just once. Youwill be back. We just came to get some for Mother?s Day and we were in Saint Louis. Yuuuum!! We have been wanting to stop by Red Top for some time and now I can?t wait to go back. My husband and I both got... brisket with the honey sauce which was fantastic. So tender and flavorful. I personally like that it?s sliced thin, about 1/4 or2/3 inches. That?s served with two pieces of bread and we both added 2 sides. We had cole slaw, potato salad, green beans, andmac n cheese. We also got a side of gumbo which was pretty good. Their gumbo has shrimp, chicken and sausage all in it whichsome places leave one or two of those out for some reason. It was a nice amount for the price, everything was priced fair. I?mgoing to go back for more gumbo, some nachos and burnt ends. The lady at the window is sweet as pie too! I had always wanted to stop and try the BBQ because I pass it every day on my way to and from work. My mother placed the order... and let me tell you I'm glad she did!!! I stopped here today for the first time to buy lunch. ?We own a small business so I support small business and have much respect... for any small business owners.? I bought chili a chicken thigh, and Mac &cheese. The chili was tasteless and didn?t seem fresh.The Mac& cheese smelled like it?s been sitting for days; it hardly had any cheese. completely flavorless. I had to recook it athome so I wouldn?t waste my money. Customer service was okay. The place looks unkept. I would recommend they hire a chef if theyplan on staying in business. Read more
