Delicious Mexican Food!!!\nThe food was so great! Even for a small town restaurant, this was up to par to some of the best... restaurants in DFW. Chips, salsa, and beans were yummy. I got a salad it was good. Fajitas left more to be desired…\n\nOnlycomplaint would be that the servers are very slow as they go to the back rooms/ kitchen flirting with each other- kinda weird!Or the servers would hold a random customers baby- presumably someone they know that visits the restaurant frequently?\n\nAllaround excellent place!!! With slow service… Read more

Really enjoyed dinner and we are looking forward to returning soon. Menu had the normal favorites with lots of surprises. ... The ceviche and the tilapia tacos were great. The flaming pineapple and shrimp tower was lots of fun and food. The bar menuwas more than expected. Read more

Exceptional food! We needed a new restaurant that offered really good Mexican food with a fresh concept. The queso brisket was... a home run. The atmosphere is upbeat, the service is professional and the owner is awesome! Welcome to Collinsville El Patron! Read more

Authentic good food. Atmosphere is nice. Not to loud. If you do have an adult beverage, it\'s not disappointing like so many... other places. Lots of families dining. The meal is slow to arrive but worth the wait. Don\'t come if you are in a hurry forsomething to throw down and run. The food is definitely worth the time. My family has been 3 times now and the staff are alwaysfriendly and efficient. Read more

Our experience at El Patron was great! We passed by the building many times awaiting the day it would open. The sign finally... switched to open! The staff was very attentive. The food service was a little slow, but for opening weekend they did a greatjob. I ordered the cowboy enchiladas. They were excellent. A huge plus was the draft beer. A cold Dos Equis after a long dayswork with some quality Mexican food is a perfect end to the day. We loved our experience and look forward to returning. Read more

Got to visit a week after their opening. It was ok. Came at 5:30pm on a Tuesday afternoon and the parking lot was full. No wait,... yet the wait for our food was 45 minutes. After about 40 minutes we realized we never got chips and salsa like so many othertables. Ordered fish plate, received shrimp tacos. Waited another 10 minutes for the fish. We tried the fried ice cream (notreally fried, rolled in cereal?) and flan. Hands down the flan was the Best! Read more
