Nice place with great ambiance. Our waitress took great care of us, very attentive and we felt like she really wanted us to have... a nice dining experience. The prime rib was tender but a little bit under seasoned, the three kinds of shrimp dinner wasawesome. Looks like the grounds are very scenic as well, too bad we were there after dark. Read more

Our meal we had last evening was pretty boring, tasteless and basically unacceptable for the price. I had walleye and it had a... fishy flavor with no taste. My husband had the bourbon salmon and, for the price, it too was tasteless. We were so surprisedsince our neighbors had said this place had really good food. For $190 for four people, we should have gone to a Kalamazoorestaurant that recently served us the best salmon with great flavors. Plus it included a vegetable, and rice pilaf withfreshly baked French bread. My salmon at Riverside was served with a baked potato that was rotten in the middle. As you cantell by my description, we won't return. The place itself has a nice setting. I would give the food 2 out of 10 and that is moreimportant than a setting. Read more

Great atmosphere, staff was very efficient as we were on a deadline to get in and out, and the prime rib was outstanding. ... Entree prices ranged $15 to 31 as I recall. You can enjoy a fine dining exoerience without draining your wallet. I'll be back. Read more
