The French toast is my fave!! They make their own fruit sauce/ spread for it which give a nice, sweet addition to the french... toast. You dont need a lot of syrup at all. Shrimp and Grits is also a must have. The homemade sauce for your steak isdelicious; oh and it has a little kick!! Ask the owner to make some for you to take home. This restaurant is exceptional. The food is extraordinary, the staff is amazing, and I felt as if I was transported to a... tropical vacation while eating breakfast! We tried shrimp and grits, salmon and grits and their incredible French toast. TheShrimp and Grits were the BEST I have ever eaten and I've had this dish all over the country. We found another gem when searching for a black owned breakfast restaurant. Estime's did not disappoint either of us. After... reading the reviews we HAD TO try the Amaretto French Toast and this was definitely the best decision. It was absolutelydelicious. No syrup needed, it was perfect and the serving amount was perfect. Both the pork as well as turkey bacon were cookedcrispy as we requested. The grits (with cheese) was also pretty good. I hope I have enough time to return while in NJ so that Ican try the shrimp n grits! The atmosphere was cozy. The service (Amiya) was excellent. She was very sweet and accommodating. This is definitely a hidden gem. First time there didn’t expect the food to be as good as it was. I ordered the NY strip and... eggs and man….. I felt the love of food in that dish. Steak was seasoned and good to perfection. It will be my new breakfastspot. I love supporting small business especially family oriented ones like this. Read more
From the outside looking in I didn't expect the food to be as good as it was or for the live DJ set-up. The music was very... upbeat and lively a great way to start your Saturday mornings. We also had great service, definitely worth the tip. (Pleaseremember to tip) Read more
Estime's Cafe is an excellent breakfast/brunch/lunch spot. They have great coffee and a diverse menu with many healthy options.... The food is fresh and well prepared. When we visited, we had excellent service. There is limited free parking in front. Thisplace gets quite busy on the weekend. There is a 3.5% service fee for credit cards. Read more
