I worked with Jeremy (manager at Hong Kong Bakery & Bistro) for my private event at the restaurant and was extremely happy with... both the service and the food. Jeremy is very professional, reliable, responsive and attentive to detail. Restaurant was on timeand prepared with all the food. The servers were extremely nice and enthusiastic and accommodated all our requests. We got a lotof food for the price, and all guests were very appreciative and amazed by the food and drinks quality especially for that night(some of our friends frequently dine at the restaurant too). Highly recommend this restaurant especially for privateevent/dinner reception! Thanks again Jeremy and his team - you have forever left a great impression with us! Read more

What a find! I passed by HKB&B for years when going to Trader Joe?s and wish I had stopped sooner. Every dish on the menu looks... so interesting that it?s hard to pick. Today we had salt pepper squid, roast duck, sautéed Chinese broccoli, sticky ricesteamed in lotus leaves and beef in tofu skins. Every single dish was perfectly cooked and tasted delicious. The music waspleasant, the setting clean and intimate, friendly staff and professional service. I just wish I could have tried more than onedessert (mango pudding with fresh mango). Can?t wait to come back. Read more

Absolutely incredible. We?re from California and suffice to say Cantonese cooking is a thing for us. Also very used to HK cafes... in San Francisco area. Also I?ve been to HK and Macao? This restaurant does it right - excellent flounder, great tofu, veggieswere just right and lots of fun bakery items to take for the rest of the trip up north. Will stop by again - certainly worthy todrive out just for this :) Read more

Nice place for dim sum in Albany! Dim sum is cooked to order when you check off your selections on the list. Hot and fresh to... your table. Also ordered the beef chow fun with gravy. Good since rice noodles need to be fresh. Read more

My favorite place in upstate NY. I've been coming here for years always love the food. The egg tarts are my favorite and the... beef pan fried noodles are fantastic. The dim sum is fresh. It's a 40min drive for me and worth every min. Read more

Food was amazing! Recommendations from staff was on point. Took items home with me, they likely won't make it though. Super... friendly staff. Will return whenever I'm back in the area. Walking distance from the Holiday Inn +++ Read more

Came here hoping for traditional Chinese dim sum (pretty much small plates of dumplings and snack foods priced by size) and was... not disappointed. There are a lot of places that say they offer dim sum but really they just mean dumplings are on the menu, this place has your standard dim sum menu. I'm not sure what that one reviewer expected when they ordered chicken feet but yes, chicken feet are just whole feet soaked in sauce... My girlfriend had the chicken feet (one of her favorite dishes) and saidthey could have used some more sauce but were otherwise good. The baked goods like the baked honey pork buns, sesame balls, eggtarts, were especially good, and the "crispy rice roll" (basically fried dough wrapped in a rice noodle) was perfect. I also hadone of the boba drinks and it was like a Frappuccino with tapioca pearls which was something I had no idea I was missing from mylife. We did not experience any rudeness from the staff as others have commented on, maybe this one employee was out when wewent, though we're from the city so our definition of rude might be a bit skewed. This place is one of the more expensive dimsum places I've been to (not surprising given the location since food costs for this kind of restaurant are going to be higherfurther away from the city) but the quality is definitely on par with or even better than many of the restaurants in New York'sChinatown. That was a huge relief to my girlfriend and I since now we have a place to go to for dim sum when we're in thecapital region. Read more
