My sister and I had a late lunch at Kelley Cafe on our way home from an east Texas family reunion on Memorial Day. We seated... ourselves & were immediately asked for our drink order. After ordering a lunch special we were served very quickly. The meal wasfilling and tasty. The hospitality was outstanding. Went to Kelley Cafe with my family. This place is great! They give you great portion size for your money! They always have nice... music playing. The servers are fast and friendly. This used to be a school for 1st, 2nd and 3rd grade. A local lady didn't wantto see it go to ruins so she turned it into a cafe along with other local businesses. If you are ever in the neighborhood then Ihighly recommend this place!???? Read more
What a SURPRISE!!! Kelly's Cafe is in an old elementary school cafeteria. Quaint and unassuming, the menu makes up for the... building. The food is AWESOME! Delicious lunch! Awesome Patty Melt and Chicken Fingers. Sweet Potato fries were cooked to perfection. Wait staff was super... friendly. It is housed inside an old elementary school, so it can be a bit tricky to find, but was totally worth it. Homemadedesserts and pies too. Read more
Interesting location for a restaurant. This used to be Kelly Elementary school. The restaurant is set up in the old cafeteria of... the school. Loved the concept. I had chicken fried steak and mashed potatoes. A nice lightly breaded steak and real mashedpotatoes. Very good and very good service to match. It was done nicely for Christmas. Place advertise to open until 9pm. Arrived at 1230 pm on a Saturday the place appeared to have been closed for years. No cars... and no people. There was so many good reviews I wish we could have tried it. Read more
