This is such a cute location and with adorable outdoor seating. I wanted this to be good so bad, I was even willing to settle... for half decent. Not sure if we visited on a really off day or not, but my husband and I ate here on Sunday. We spent over $60to sample most everything on the menu and I?ve never regretted a food purchase more. To start, there is an extreme lack offlavor on all the meat. Chicken was incredibly dry, sauce couldn?t even add to it. Was very disappointed to order brisket andhave it come out as pulled brisket vs slices. The menu should clearly reflect ?Pulled Brisket?. The ribs were the best thing onthe menu, but it?s no where near acceptable taste standards. I was super excited to see southern style green beans, howeverthere?s no way they are. They were simply canned green beans with a little bacon and ZERO flavor. There are far better places tospend your money. Truly never been more disappointed with nearly the entire menu at a restaurant until this visit. Hoping theowner can get some flavor incorporated and get the pit master training on how to smoke meat without drying it out entirely. Read more

The meals here are amazing. Whether smoked brisket, pulled pork or Hot Link it?s all ???? legit. I prefer western beans ????... and green beans w/ bacon ???? for sides. The wild-side sauce is my go to. On Saturdays they bring in bands and have an outdoorbar. Very fun spot with great service. Worth the drive even if not in Black Forest. Read more

Finally, brisket that is cooked and seasoned well but most importantly it is moist and right on tender. I got the 3-meat platter... with brisket, rib tips and spareribs with coleslaw and potato salad. Spare rib and rib tips were cooked on point, not overcookedand well-seasoned again. There is whole lot of drink choices from beer and cocktails along with convenience store style drinkfridges. I thoroughly enjoyed and found everything delicious and well made. There is hard work and that can be noticed on howwell place is kept and effort put into making some really good BBQ. In addition, everyone was welcoming and courteous.
