Service was great, food was terrible. We stopped by for weekday lunch to try something new and left so disappointed. Everything... tasted pre-made or from a can, nothing tasted fresh. Salsa was bland, the chicken in my enchilada was so tough and rubbery (itwas like they took pre-cooked breast strips from the grocery store fridge section and threw it in my enchilada), the braisedbeef on my husband’s taco salad just tasted old and the flavor just wasn’t right paired with the salad. Our server was greatand attentive, even though he was running all the tables on his own, just so disappointing when we go out so little, to leavefeeling having wasted that much money on a sad lunch. The food is gross, It looked like their was a rat or mouse on my plate. The chile rellinos was over cooked. The salsa tasted... like it was out of the can,The food was cold. The building is pretty dark inside and a little depressing, but appeared clean. The food wasn't bad, but didn't have a lot of... flavor or too much to be interested about. It took about 15 minutes for us to be seated, which was strange, considering that itwas mostly empty, but our server was attentive and did a good job throughout the meal. We are first time customers, just moved to the area but didn't realize this was not a good spot for dinner for 2. We saw big... groups seated and served promptly so guessing, after our experience here, this is more of a drinking/gathering place than anactual good place to eat. We were seated after waiting 10 minutes, not a big deal just odd because when I walked to therestroom the place was not that busy. The real disappointment was that it was another 15 minutes before our waitress arrived tobring chips and take our order. We were literally on our phones looking for another restaurant but since she walked up, wefigured maybe things would change, so we ordered queso, which came quickly but that was about the best part. The first thing mywife ordered they couldn't make, so she settled for the driest chicken fajita tacos but she only ate one because it she hurt atooth on a hard piece of chicken. I ordered the chicken tortilla soup but it was not good at all, just sent it back, was goingto order something different but I think we're just going to call this dining experience a L and move along. Haven't even had arefill on my water, in over an hour, just amazed at the level of food and service at a restaurant that so many peoplerecommended when we moved here. Even paying the bill has been incredibly slow, we were ready to leave 15 minutes ago, stillwaiting on our card to be picked up and charged. We aren't even in a hurry, just bored and ready to go home.
