Decided to try the Columbia steakhouse in place of driving all the way to DC for hubby's birthday. My reservation stated it was... his birthday. 1st steakhouse I have ever been to that did not acknowledge the person's birthday. Brendan was a great server,answered questions, attentive, refilled lemonade, and offer hot cloths to clean hands. ????????????Hubby got the shrimp cocktailand rack of ribs. He really enjoyed the ribs, the were seasoned well and fell off the bones. My drink the Grand Marty wasexcellent!! My appetizer muscles in a cream sauce I will go back for!! Welp, then it went wrong. The lobster mac and cheese hadenough lobster thank goodness, but the sauce needed to be thicker. The sauce was not clinging to the noodles. It also neededmore cheese and a bit more seasoning. I got the fish of the day which was the Rockfish with garlic string beans and mashedpotatoes. The garlic was still down the street at Whole Foods it completely missed the string beans. But the green beans werecooked well they were nice and crispy. There was a sauce that came with this dish, if I ate the fish without the accompanyingsauce the fish was bland, it needed salt and more seasoning. That's a big no no, food should always be seasoned so that you addthe sauce if you want something extra, but it taste fabulous without it. The location is great, parking is a breeze, the staff is friendly, service good, and the food/drink was all well prepared. The... cocktails we ordered were all well made and executed. The seafood tower was great, the oysters were good, the snow crab andlobster were great. The shrimp were well cooked but not all that great tasting on their own, so they definitely needed the helpof cocktail sauce. The restaurant acoustics can be rough in certain places. It definitely can get very loud in that restaurant,so be sure to ask for a quieter section if needed. We were seated near the main bar area as a reference point by the windowslooking towards the front entrance. A baby a couple tables over occasionally would cry and it was exceptionally loud sounding,heavily amplified by the tall ceilings. The food service can be a touch slow, but was never unreasonable. We waited a good bitof time between our salad and entrees, but this might have been intentional based on the seafood tower we had just consumed so Iwas okay with that. The salads were only okay. Everything is fresh, but I think the lettuce was still wet when tossed with thedressing so it made the dressing taste watered down. This is a minor nitpick, I generally ask for the dressing on the side butforgot and that likely would have helped. The center-cut filet is a great cut of meat, it was perfectly seared and cooked toorder. My personal taste however says that it's a touch under-seasoned. I've read several reviews and saw responses from theowners about pulling back on seasoning. I think from a steak seasoning perspective it might be fine, but it could use someadditional salt before going on that grill. Though perhaps the smoky flavor of the grill just overpowers the seasoning used. Inthe future, I would likely try their peppercorn crusted filet instead or at least at the reduction sauce. It was an amazing dining experience, the atmosphere was outstanding, the service was great and the food ???? was sensational. I... had the tortellini a la vodka and it was delicious. I definitely come to this restaurant often and I do like it enough to keep coming back lol. It’s a nice ambiance and the... service is always good. The food is hit or miss but reliable nonetheless. My favorite is the grilled artichoke even though thatcan also be inconsistent. But definitely one of the nicer restaurants in Columbia so I do recommend! Read more

A real jewel of fine eating and friendly atmosphere- we were so happy to come across and enjoyed family dinner. Dish portions... were small but filling. Hot fudge sundae with freshly brewed coffee was the perfect final item. Four of us shared hot FudgeSundae, was sufficient in quantity to delve into. First timer! I ordered the Jamie’s Cobb online the toaster app was easy to use. Garage parking was easy, went in was greeted... immediately my order was ready. Cobb salad was amazing, fresh, and huge. I couldn’t eat all of it. Well worth it I’ll goback and try something else soon. Read more

A Great Restaurant for us local residents. The live music is appreciated and the singer is awesome (song choices, pleasant... performance manner, and friendly encouragement for clients to pick favorite songs, etc.) Service won't disappoint you and youcan always choose your item from the menu no matter whether you are for plant-based diet or meat-lovers.
