I waited 45 minutes for one order of kabobs and hummus. Once received the container of hummus exploded everywhere twice. I would... recommend the other Maiwand Kabob by the hospital over this one their portions are much larger (5 pieced of bread vs 2, hummascontainer is double the size, etc) and the wait time is half as long. Ate here twice in last two months. Food was excellent each time, as was the service. Have had lamb chicken and beef kabobs and... special of the day, chicken curry. Chicken kabobs are my favorites. I am not a big rice eater but their's is nicely seasonedand very tasty. The chicken curry was a bit over salted but otherwise well seasoned. Love their eggplant appetizer and alwaysget their spinach appetizer as a side dish. Celebrated my friend's birthday on Saturday around 1130, place was not crowded theservice and food were both excellent. My friend was impressed just as I was on my prior visit without her. While you order atthe counter and they bring out the food, the service is better than many full service restaurants. They were very attentive andanxious to please. We will be going back as often as time allows. Everything was fresh, salad crisp and a nice mix of greens. We definitely over ordered and they were nice about providing take out containers, enough to separate various dishes and notjust toss everything into one container (I don't like some foods to touch. I had food at Maiwand kabob in Columbia crossing. And I am a big fan of chicken Karaahi. Was soooo good. Big portions and good... quality meat. I was very impressed and diffinetly will be back! Loved it all and did not get a picture of my desert which was abaklava cheesecake:)highly recommended! Read more
