It bad enough that they raised the prices on the chicken but when i opened my 2 piece spicy chicken tender box i got 1 regular... tender,hot and juicy and 2 barely warm, dry spicy tenders,inedible but i was half way home before i noticed ,when its good itsgreat but your'e slipping.... Read more
If you want to throw up, look by the shake machine. It is awful! No one cleans. The store is dirty and they never seem to have... coffee prepared in the early morning hours. After i saw the nasty encrusted mess by the shake and fountain machine, i stoppedgoing. That is very unsanitary and someone is going to get very sick! You'd think with this Pandemic going around, they'd be onpoint with sanitizing things. Clearly not! Staff however are extremely nice. I'm a big fan of the Spicey Chicken Tenders. I try and find a Royal Farms every day as I work on the road. The service at this... one is pretty good. I prefer one that has a restroom and gas which this one has neither. Today, the chicken was absolutelyperfect! Used the restroom at Popeye's. ;) Read more
11/2/2019. Nastiest fried chicken and wedges I ever tasted. It?s obvious the oil used was old! Workers behind the food counter... need to use tongs to take up the food. The chicken was more salty than meat on the bone. Never stopping there again! Not evenfor gas. Nasty food! Threw it away after the first bite. Wasted$14.85. Wedges were soggy and stale. Absolutely the worst Royal Farms with no exception. As a former Uber driver I've been around most of the DMV and been to my fair... share of these chain stores. Anything late night is off limits... Hot food is shut down, if the store is even open. The worstemployees are delegated to these shifts and coming here is basically a nightmare more times than not. Worst yet, the storemanager told me today this location will be shutting down at 11pm starting 11/22 because of "robberies" desipte the fact Giantis open till 12 and there's a 7-11 literally across the street open 24/7. Update 10/11/19...This place is still terrible! I just don't get how they continue to operate. Maybe its because dummies like me... who keep giving them a chance when I have limited time on my lunch break. Won't make that mistake again...their customer servicereally is non existent. And had the popeye's next door had their chicken sandwich I wouldn't be even writing this...this is myfault for not being done as I said before, but won't happen again. The Columbia Branch of Royal Farms is terrible. They reallyneed a manager, because they are constantly running out of the most basic supplies. One day it's turkey sausage, another dayit's spinach or tomatoes, then yesterday afternoon they literally had no coffee. Seriously every coffee and most of the creamerswere out of stock. I TRIED to get a 3 piece white meat box w/cheese (for my western fries). There was only 2 breasts in the window and you could... easily see they had been there a long time considering how dark and dry looking the meat was. I then requested something elseconsidering the condition. The western fries and 2 chicken tenders that I was given were unable to eat due to the HEAVY portionof salt seasonings in the batter.
