Royal Taj is such a pleasant and unexpected surprise considering it?s location. When you enter you are transported to a high... class restaurant with high quality food, true ambiance, and excellent service. The best part is that while it might be a buck ortwo more than other Indian food, it is so well worth it. Treat yourself to a Taj Mahal beer, share all the delicious food, andhave a friendly chat with staff and/or the owner (he is often walking around being an excellent host). We absolutely adore this place. Simply the best Indian food you will ever have, anywhere. Period. We've had Indian friends... confirm to us that the food at Taj is better than their mama's. Also, the staff is incredibly friendly and efficient, and theowner is the nicest man you will ever meet. We used to drive for an hour each way to go there every week end, until we moved.Now we make a stop each time we're in the area. Phenomenal food. Absolutely beautiful place. Perfect 10 service. The decor was very nice as if you were dinning in a palace. They have a lot of friendly staffs serving the restaurant. The owner... visited us at the table and make sure everything was great. We were visiting my son and this is his favorite restaurant. I can see why! The place is immaculate and the service you receive... is beyond amazing. I've always been a little scared of Indian food, but the Royal Taj changed my mind on this. The food wasfantastic!! Any questions we had, the server was more than happy to answer them. He was careful in asking and explaining howspicy we might like a dish. We went with medium heat and it was perfect. Birthday celebration dinner. Restaurant looks like they have upgraded the furnishings. Beautiful setting. As always the food was... wonderful. Flavorful and well executed.
