Visited The Ale House Columbia with friends last night and had a great experience! We had a larger table size, but only waited... 10 minutes for a table even though the restaurant was pretty busy. We were in the outside area which had nice lights andspeakers playing music. Our server was very friendly and provided great service! I started off the night getting the picklefries. They were delicious, crunchy and the aioli was the perfect dipping sauce for them. For my meal, I ordered the KoreanFried Chicken Sandwich, and it was AMAZING!! It was so good I couldn’t stop talking about it with people at my own table. Theveggies, the chicken in gochujang sauce and the pretzel bun just made an incredible flavor combination. Fun local pub in Columbia, sadly it's a bit hidden from the road but still has plenty of foot traffic! Servers were... knowledgeable of the and everything on it. Burgers are solid and the wings were decent. Bar seating when the restaurant isfull still has fast service and their attentiveness is exception during busy times. Read more
Went for Sunday brunch- was seated quickly. We ordered the chicken & waffles and the banana praline french toast both were... delicious. Only disappointment was that they didn't have peach Bellinis. Server was friendly and attentive. Read more
Got the poké salad and WOW was it awesome. Food is always on point here. Service wasn't as personable as I would have liked but... it was busy so ill give them a pass on it. Overall it was a great experience!!! Read more
I’ve been here several times and have always had a good experience. I usually get a few appetizers to share, but of my... favorites is the salmon BLT, with onions rings instead of fries. The fish and chips is also fantastic..I like that we have theoption to sit inside at the bar and still have the fresh air from outside. The one recommendation would be to have the wine in atemperature controlled environment- instead of on the counter in the heat and hot sun. Read more
Staff was pleasant. Food was great. Loved the bourbon/ whiskey menu too. Enjoyed the cheering from World cup fans :)
