Other than a little mix-up regarding my bill, food was amazing. I had the Chicken Pot Pie, and there was no way to mistake it... for a frozen dinner. 1st time at a Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen. Our Server told us she was getting us our Complimentary Honey Butter Croissants. It... took her awhile, we had to get her attention, and we had to ask her if she was still bringing them to us. She finally did. Ourordered Trio Sampler Appetizer came out shortly thereafter. Then our Entrees: New Orleans Pasta with Garlic Bread, ShrimpAlfredo with Garlic Bread, and Key West Chicken and Shrimp with 2 sides of Rice came out shortly thereafter as well. Food wasgood. Nothing really stood out. Just wish our Server either wasn't overworked, and/or paid more attention to us and our emptywater glasses. Read more

Yesterday was my first visit to Chedder's and it did not disappoint. Walking in, we noticed the friendly and helpful staff. We... even commented at the table after we sat that this is the first restaurant here in Columbia where every staff member said hellowhen we walked in. It was refreshing. We did not have to wait long to receive any sort of service. Johanna, our server came totake out drink order and asked if we wanted appetizers. We declined the appetizers but did order drinks. The drinks arrivedpretty quickly and Johnna took our order. Despite how busy the establishment was at this particular time, Johanna flew aroundlike a shero providing excellent service to all the customers. When the food arrived, it was hot and fresh. I could tell thiswas not sitting on the warmer or in the prep area for long. The food smelled excellent and the portions were very nice. My tabledid not have ketchup but Johanna brought us a full bottle to suit our needs. The food was great! Overall, the service andsatisfaction we received was perfect. Johanna and the rest of the staff provided an warm and inviting atmosphere, the cooksprovided and excellent meal, and the experience was wonderful. Great service! The inside looks really neat too. And the food is great, with plentiful portion sizes. Ooh, and the croissants... before your entree are exquisite! Would recommend for a sit down meal any day. Read more
