Picture it, 4:45pm, a co-worker comes up to me and asks, "is there any way you can get me a catered lunch for tomorrow?" I said,... I can call around but it's going to be tough. Panera bread was a no, it was too late and their catering was full for the nextday, Pickleman's didn't answer their phone. Third call, Dickey's bbq, I spoke with Jared and he said, sure we can take care ofit for you. I was impressed. He took the order and promptly at lunch he arrived with everything; plates, napkins, food, drinks.He set everything up, had a great attitude. The best part is everyone was happy with their meal. Had probably one of the most worst experiences at a restaurant last night in my whole entire life. To say the least I?m very... disappointed with the staff at this location they are by far the most disrespectful people I?ve ever encountered? My party of 3came into the restaurant at about 7:05 on 09/20/2022 with vouchers for a free sandwich (I?ve never tried this restaurant andthe place we live at gave out free vouchers) we all ordered on the app to make it simple but once we walk in one of theemployees attitude towards us was absolutely terrible, screaming across the restaurant to us ?I LOVE MAKING FREE SANDWICHES?with a very rude and sarcastic tone. One of the people in my party didn?t handle that situation very lightly and told theemployee ?If you offer the promotion to the public why are you complaining about making a sandwich? and what we thought was themanager said that this location isn?t a participating location. Well I hate to break it to what I thought was the manager butyou can most certainly take the coupon code off the app or make corporate handle that if it?s that big of a deal. I myselfactually got more then just the sandwich so I didn?t expect to be disrespected by the employees since I was paying customer. Thesnarky comments out of the employee and manager were very uncalled for the attitude was absolutely terrible as well. Their menu says that it comes with pickles and onions. But to my surprise, there was none on the sandwich. So I called to... complain and the only thing I got told was to request them next time, because they were tired of throwing so many away all thetime. Well. Then it should say that on the menu. The sandwich was pretty bland and dry for $15. No remake was offered. Kind ofdisappointed I didn't get my bbq fix handled. The sides were just mediocre as well. The soda I wanted was out. The staff wasvery kind and hospitable. But the food just wasn't what I was hoping for. Bring back Buckinghams!! Read more
The food was pretty good. Portions on the 3 meat plate were very small. There was not a lot of smoke flavor on the pulled pork... or the brisket. The turkey was very good. What I got to taste of the ribs were decent. However, as I said before, the portionswere very small. I only received 2 rib bones with this meal and both of them were the very end piece that has no meat on them. Ipulled all of the meat off both bones and piled it up. I love their pulled pork, delicious sides, big yellow cup (Coke Products) and to top it off with ice cream! I go here at least... once or twice a week! Mmm! If you love BBQ at a fair price you must go! Great value and great customer service! Read more
Overpriced "meh" food. $19 for a sandwich, two sides and a drink. The side containers are deceptively small. Mac and cheese was... cold and bland. Beans were decent. The sandwich was very disappointing. The bread lacked any flavor or structure. The meats werecold and dry; not a single drop of sauce or extras on it despite the sign saying sandwiches come with sauce, pickles and onions.The cheese looks and tastes like a basic slice of American cheese. If you're looking for good BBQ, go to any of the other placesin town. You'll get far more quality for far less money. Read more
