You have to walk to the counter to order, you have to go back to get your pizza, you have to get up to get plates and napkins... and forks. You have to serve your family drinks and and go get the Parmisian cheese shaker. So I basically served my familydinner it didn't make me feel great. I want to go out to eat and get waited on. Ugh, I thought I?d give them another chance. But as usual they are soooooooooo slow. They consistently say 60-75 minutes but... we?re now at over 90 minutes waiting. The last time it was late and not even fully cooked. This is the last time I decide togive Shakespears another try. ???? we even gave it an hour and half advance notice hoping to avoid this and still here we are?.Trust me the quality of pizza not worth the wait. A few different friends of ours have recommended this pizza joint to us and we finally got the chance to try it. We ordered a... large 16 inches pepperoni and mushrooms pizza. I also ordered a local IPA beer called (Logboat snapper) which was a good chaserfor the pizza. Pizza was freshly made and tasted great. they have a board that tells you how many minutes it would take to makethe pizza. It goes from 20 minutes up to 60. We got lucky and it only took 20 minutes. Located in Columbia, Mo, Shakespeare offers a variety of pizzas, salads, garlic bread, and other foods. They had an excellent... selection of beers and soft drinks. We visited the West location with a good amount of space to enjoy pizzas with friends.There are tables and booths with room to combine. The pizza is superb. A tasty crust with a lovely crust. We ordered a VeggiePizza and were not disappinted. As a side, I choose a Caesar salad, also tasty and plentiful for a regular. The staff wasextremely helpful and attentive. Wait time was not bad; we waited by enjoying our beverages and admiring the decorations andmementos, including some vintage motorcycles and signs. Really delicious. I come to Columbia once per year for work, and we have a tradition of going to Shakespeare's. This was my... first time at this location, and it is just as good as the other I've been to. They have the best pepperoni I've ever had! It'snot the weak, thin, mass-produced stuff you get at other places. Other pepperoni gets its flavor from salt. Shakespeare's getsits taste from the meat. I didn't realize how much better good ingredients can taste. The cheese is even noticeably better. Read more

The pizza was excellent and loaded with toppings. The crust wasn?t too doughy. Great atmosphere. The staff looked to genuinely... be enjoying themselves. The best part was getting a photo opportunity with the Danny DeVito cardboard cutout! Read more

First time experiencing Shakespeare?s pizza and I hate that I waited so long to get here. The cheesy bread was amazing and the... marinara sauce was fantastic. We got the meat lovers and it was plenty for 4 people plus taking leftovers home. It all came outhot and fast and tasted fantastic. I can?t wait to get back to Columbia to eat it again. Read more
