Always go out of my way to come here every time I?m in Columbia. The drinks are absolutely phenomenal. Every single cocktail... I?ve tried is top notch and perfectly prepared. I especially recommend The Dirty Money and The Basil Smashed Scott. Read more
It was not a busy night and they had sufficient servers staffed to cover the number of customers, but staff were very... inconsistent bout checking on customers. Mostly the staff stayed behind the bar standing around talking. Had to chase themdown for a drink refill and for my check. Dirty dishes were not bussed. Food was excellent. Read more
This place is a speakeasy style bar beneath the tiger hotel. Cocktails are normally well made and as long as you don\'t go in... during a festival or event, the service is good. A bit pricey which is to be expected of a classy joint like this. Read more
I came in for a cocktail and to listen to live music with a friend this past Saturday. The drinks were good and the musician,... who was playing covers, gave the atmosphere a welcoming yet relaxing vibe. However, an hour into the young lady\'s set a man Icould only assume was the manager of the club went over and very publicly kicked her out. Shaming her by even doing a shimmy infront of everyone as to indicate she wasn\'t playing the music he wanted. I know, other people who have performed there, shecould not have been scheduled for more than an hour longer. It was a very rude and disgusting act by that man. The music was nobad, it may not have been very upbeat, but it was not causing patrons to leave and more customers were still coming in. If theyoung lady volunteered her unpaid time to come play, I would hope an establishment like the Vault would allow her to finish hershort set, and simply not to invite her back again. To make matters worse, the manager then turned on the radio. The warmwelcoming vibe that had been our first impression, turned into a very hollow, stereotypical club that was trying too hard to beupscale. I would have gone elsewhere if that is what I wanted. I always heard the Vault was a nice place to relax, the promiseof live music was even more of a bonus. I believed that it had an element of class. After witnessing these events I will not bereturning and I will not be singing its praise. For an upscale place such as The Tiger Hotel, I would expect The Vault to be nodifferent.
