This place is so awesome. It has a nice open layout, the tables are a nice distance away from each other. The food is great and... the service is wonderful. They also have a shop called Murphys Mercantile where they have lots of unique gifts for everyone onyour list, including plants! They also have candies and an ice cream parlor. Best chicken and waffles you'll ever eat. I had the roast turkey with filling tonight and it was just as delicious. Also had... the ham and string beans and it was like your mother used to make. Hinkle's is a must go. My wife ans I always get greatservice from Julie, Tom and Chris. Love everything about Hinkle's and will be a customer for life. Read more

Eggs over medium were over cooked. Scrambled eggs were over cooked. Ham was burnt. And the bacon was burnt. The toast had so... much butter it was soggy. This has to be the worst diner in Lancaster county. This is not the first time I've been here. Thefirst time I figured maybe they were just having a rough day in the kitchen. I have visited Hinkle's before but never for breakfast.They do serve breakfast all day. Just look what I'd been missing !... Stuffed pumpkin pancakes fit for a king ! Too delicious to adequately describe but if they are a special when you go , do notmiss them . Split with half my friend's veggie omelette , this was the perfect fall breakfast before a long walk on theNorthwest River Trail. A large menu with something for everyone one , lots of nearby parking , good prices and a lovely giftshop. It's a nice place to visit. Highly recommend. Read more
My daughter had the kids grilled cheese. She said it was so good and I believe it because she ate all of her sandwich before... touching her fries LOL. I had the pulled pork sandwich, which was also good. A nice simple lunch in a very quaint, well takencare of establishment. Prices were good and the little gift shop was a cute touch. Read more
