This place is never open. Last weekend I went to get a cup of coffee, was told either by staff or the owners (looked to be... someone of command.. so I'd assume owners) told me that they couldn't help me, and that they opened at 9 even though it was 9:23and the open sign was on, and even had an open flag flowing in the wind. THEN two days ago, I went to get breakfast at 11 a.mand thet we're not open. Now, today, I was attempting to get a sandwich from there.. and they are closed, at 5 on a Sunday..benefit of the doubt being Sunday, fine. But if you're closed periodically throughout the week, then why not help out those whoare hungry on the weekend? Read more
Very disappointing. We ordered food to eat in, 2 other customers ordered food 5 minutes after and they got their food 1st (we... all got cold sandwichs). When we got our food, it was ready for take out and my wrap was on a roll with paper thin 1 kind ofmeat. Doesn't Italian subs come with 2 different kinds of meat?! Thank you not thank you. Read more
Gave our order and sat down. A few minutes later 5 other people came and ordered take out. The workers new them as they called... them by name. They were given their orders and left. We were still waiting for our food. I did receive my, very good Potatosoup, hot. When the rest of our order finally came, my Grilled Chicken Salad had cold processed "grilled" chicken (never hadcold grilled chicken on a salad, at other restaurants, always hot) and no hard boiled egg. The Cheese Steak had no sauce, waswarm, along with warm fries. Was our meal sitting, finished on the side, while there friends were having their sandwiches made?We had a Local Flavor, luckily we were eating in, what is the difference if we eat in or would like to take it out? A great little place in Columbia that makes a great sandwich (the Shifter) on fresh bread at a very reasonable price. I've seen... a few reviews of people unhappy with the price, but that's just nuts. I can't imagine where they are getting that. The pricesare very reasonable. Also: excellent and friendly service! Whenever I am passing through Columbia, I'll be sure to stop infor a little something to take on the road or back home with me. Read more
