If you're local and a regular, they take care of you. I was from out of town but enjoy karaoke alot. Unfortunately, I cannot... give this place a good rating for the karaoke. I waited three and a half hours to sing one song, I got skipped 4 times bylocals with head of the line cards. The last time I got skipped pushed me past the last singer so I didn't even get to sing. Iwas okay with waiting, but being skipped that many times isn't very welcoming to those who are guest. The KJ didn't reallycare, but I didn't whine either. Just easier to share my experience here and let others make their own decision. If you're aregular and local I would give this a recommend. If you're from out of town looking for a good karaoke place, this isn't yourplace. I do believe the KJ does karaoke at most of the local places on different nights, not sure if the treatment will be anybetter at other places. Read more
Love to pop by here. If I?m ever bored, I know something is going on soon at art bar. A super fun place with great and funky... events, good beer, good food. I love the Monday Movie Mockery! Chalk board in the back is fun to draw on, and there?s pinballtoo. I was a regular here in my twenties, used to do poetry readings of my original poetry there. Came back thirty years later...it... was just as awesome!!! Staff is super cool! Vibe is just right! Found where I had written a line of one my poems on the wallyears ago! Next time I am in Columbia, will make sure I go back! Bought a t-shirt! Food was great, drinks even better! Read more
I have to give it 3 stars until I experience the night life at the Art bar. It is an interesting place to visit in Columbia.... Ignore the greeting party at the door, they are just regulars. I did visit in the afternoon which as you will see, the place wasempty. I had one drink and jumped to another place. Call it it an early bar tour. Read more
I?ve loved this place for awhile because of the atmosphere but tonight I came here with my friend, Shayla was our bartender and... I think she has to be the most personable, friendly, and just awesome bartender we?ve ever had!! She suggested drinks that werenothing but perfect! Idk what she gets paid but give that girl a raise!!
