I came in there Friday and I order ribs rice and hash and Mac and cheese. Ms candy made sure my order was right. Ms candy is... sweet person I have ever meet. Ms candy made my experience worth the ride. I definitely will be coming back. Thanks Ms Candy formake my experience a great one. Read more
At my wits end with these folks, this is the 2nd time this has happened, do not waste your money here! My rib was unchewable,... again! It was dry and hard, like it was left over and had been warmed up again. The other dishes may be decent, but leavethose ribs alone!! Now I know why they cover them in sauce! How disappointing! Ordered chopped meat with rice and ribs. I did not get one rib and was charged $14 l. Returned meal and was expecting a freshly... fixed plate. Nope, they wanted to charge $7 extra for a rib...which was supposed to be included. Mac &cheese had no flavor,hash and rice nasty. Chopped BBq was chunky and not good. CORNBREAD...IS DRY! Food was good as always but the attitudes of some of the women who work there needs to be addressed. I witnessed them get very... snappy with a few customers. Didn?t realize the big t dinner only comes with one vegetable now. The lady heard me ask formacaroni and collards. She very nonchalantly slapped the macaroni on the plate and closed it. Didn?t even have the decency totell me they changed it. Had to order my greens separately even though the menu hanging up clearly says it comes with two sides.I?d rather take the drive to the one in the country. Cindy always treats u nicely. Read more
Quintessential Southern Bar-b-que. This unassuming little joint is making outstanding Carolina comfort food and is absolutely... worth a visit. We came hungry and tried everything we could. Everything is delicious, and their mustard sauce is magical.Definitely get the greens. The hash and rice were a new experience for us, and now we don't understand how it isn't served atevery BBQ joint. The fried chicken is the best we've had since momma made it over the stove in her cast iron. Ribs? Oh yeah.Pulled pork. You better believe it. My First Time eating here was 10/24/2022 and I'm normally not a bar be que eater, I don't really care for it because my... experiences have been dry, hardly no sauce, and just plain altogether but on yesterday I must honestly and truly have to admit,Mmmmaannn, I ordered the Bar be que plate with Hash and rice, rib, and 1 vegetable in which I chose the macaroni and cheeseya'll the food is off the chain, I enjoyed it and I'm most definitely going back and soon you will not be disappointed moneywell spent...Thanks Guys #5 Stars Read more
