First time eating here it was really wonderful we'll certainly be back in the future.
I never leave reviews, but this place was disgusting. Sorry. One of the employees told me she wouldn't even eat here! I grew up... on country cooking. I love creamed corn. They serve canned corn mixed in starch as creamed corn. All the sides tasted likesomeone opened up a can and served it. That employee that I spoke to said this store does not follow company recipes, so nowonder. I will say that the severs were all sweet and attentive, but the food was disappointing. Read more

Fish dinner. Terrible. Bite size portion of fish cutlets. Greens & ocra is extremely bland. Cornbread was dry like it's days... old. Spent over $50. Thought I was doing my family a favor by ordering out but my mother still has to cook. This food is NOTedible. Read more
Peach cobbler was disgusting, thought I would try it and was very disappointed. Tasted like a paper and just wasn?t any good.... Just put two tenders on a biscuit for what though?? where?s the chicken patty? my biscuit fell apart after picking it up ,biscuits shouldn?t do that ?. Wow! Another dine-in moment! I can't begin to tell how very warm and inviting the atmosphere and meal was! Cooked to perfection.... Served with care. Shared with love with my family! The first time we ordered from Lizard's Thicket. We ordered (2) chicken & waffles, (2) side of French fries and (2) desserts-... pound cake and peach cobbler. The food arrived within the time frame it had given us, but the French fry containers were maybeeach half full. Maybe. And no peach cobbler was given to us. I called the restaurant, waited on hold for 8 min just for themanager to come on and tell me to take it up w/ door dash. I wasn't lookin for a refund. I was looking for maybe an inrestaurant gift card? But no. The restaurant is responsible to make the customer happy even if the door dash driver messed up?This is one restaurant we will never eat at again. Read more
