I like it. Had Catfish, green beans, okra and slaw. Catfish was great, but I'm not from here. Green beans were the best. Okra... was so so. The cornbread was great too. No real butter though. Tea tasted like it might have bee instant. Read more
I wanted southern home cooking and I got it! Fried flounder, black eyed peas (seasoned perfectly) , cabbage (cooked perfectly)... and pickled beets. Everything was so good! My glass of sweet tea was never empty. They were close to closing when we got thereand we were treated as if we were the first customers of the day. Read more
This morning was a great experience the food was delicious and fresh and my waitress Ms Erin was fantastic.
Heard this was a good place to eat from locals. Went and it was delicious. Everyday food, country cooking, soul food or what... ever you want to ca it. All I know it was good. Waitress "Chiquita" was excellent. If you like chicken liver, it was cookedperfectly. Slightly hard on outside but moist and soft not dry.
