First time visit and really enjoyed it. The lunch special can't be passed up. The house salad has quality ingredients with a... great house ginger dressing. It isn't iceberg with a weird orange ginger dressing like another place nearby that will remainunnamed. I had the palmetto and really enjoyed it. The rice was perfect and the tuna had a beautiful color. My dad enjoyed thePhiladelphia roll and the salad as well. The service was great as well. I will be back. Edit: I came back and got the samething. Two pieces of sushi in and I couldn't stomach the taste of the tuna. It was nasty. I paid and left. Maybe another day. Read more
This happened a week ago. It was my sister?s birthday & she chose this place for her birthday lunch. It was only our 2nd time... coming here. Our first experience was great (that?s why I?m giving it an extra star), but now we won?t be going back because allwe are going to be thinking about is the roach noodles. Our little sister came with us that day & she ordered noodles.THANKFULLY she noticed the roach before she even took a bite. When we pointed the roach out to our waiter, she rushed away withthe plate without even giving us a chance to say anything else. About 5 minutes later, our waiter came back with another plate,and we were like ?UM NO THANK YOU? & told her we wanted the noodles off the check. She apologized and everything. I had an AMAZING dinner tonight! I ordered the sesame chicken with fried rice and it was the best Asian food I have found in... Columbia. Great atmosphere and we loved our server, Taylor- she had so many great recommendations and helped us pick out theperfect wine to pair with our dinner. Everything I ate here was tasty! Place is clean and service is phenomenal! Leo waited on us during our visit, he is so... professional and polite. I had the Green Dragon roll. Today we celebrated my daughter's graduation luncheon. The five star chefs prepared fresh and delicious foods, and our guests... loved the venue and could not stop raving about the taste and quality of the dishes. We received numerous positive complimentsand texts from our guests after the event letting us know how much they enjoyed everything. It's evident Miyos infuses freshingredients with garden fresh hand cut vegetables, therefore, you will not find this quality and level of quality customerservice elsewhere in the area. When it came time to plan the menu, Michelle recommended several dishes and asked me to trust herwhich turned out to be the best decision for me. When you decide to plan your next event with Michelle, she communicates withyou before, during, and after your event while keeping you posted about the meal and time for my guests to arrive. We hadenough food for our guests to get second servings and take leftovers home. Be sure to get the rock shrimp appetizer. Overall, Icould not have been more elated and pleased with my decision to use Miyos for my daughter's graduation luncheon. Of all theplaces that contacted me about their venue and food, no one communicated to the level of Michelle and provided 5 star customerservice. During our celebration, Michelle and her husband were accommodating and didn't hover over us. I love Miyo?s!!!!! I?ve always had great service here and amazing sushi. I honestly can?t speak of the Chinese food tho I assume... it?s good (looks delicious). I?m partial to sushi so that?s the only thing I get when I go. I can never get over how fast thefood comes out. My waitress Jordan was awesome! She really took the time to make sure that I was taken care of! Also the sushichef is definitely skilled at his craft. Everything is fresh and looks beautiful.
