Went yesterday for our anniversary. From arrival to end, the staff was friendly and wished us happy anniversary several times... (different staff members). Food was excellent — we highly recommend the fried green tomatoes app, the pork chop and theespresso chocolate cake. We arrived early and had a drink at the bar, also pleasant. First and foremost I would like to say that Saluda's is one of Columbia's greatest restaurants. They go out of their way to make... you feel like you are the most important person that's in there. With that being said I would like to thank the owner Steve themanager Andrew for giving me and my wife the best anniversary dinner we have had and our 5 years of marriage. You guys knockedit out of the park and gave us a very rememberable night. Just when I thought the atmosphere was enough the ambiance was enoughthe drink's was enough you go the extra step. And prepare a wonderful dish just for me and my wife. The food being superdelicious and you guys making a custom orders for us something that was not even on the menu just takes my breath away. Overall very pleased but there were minor hiccups. The waitress was super attentive and nice, the food was pretty tasty. I... ordered the ribeye but got the filet mignon instead. They had to send it back and then I had to wait for my ribeye to get madewhile my husband had his plate, which was not that big of a deal for me. The cocktails were pretty great. I ordered dessert togo, I ordered what said “peppermint chocolate cake” but when I got home sadly all I got was plain chocolate cake. Nothingspecial, was disappointed but was not going to drive back to the restaurant at that point. They did discount one of thecocktails because of the mix up with my meal which was nice. Overall great experience, just wish they could double check ordersbefore sending them out. Read more
