I was working out front of the building this week and I could smell the delicious food from inside... my van so I had to give it a try. let me tell you it did not disappoint. the what I'm assuming owners was very kind andhelpful. I had said it was my first time and he recommended some things while we waited it gave us a complimentary appetizerwith this delicious breed and it was really good. so i knew the main dish would be fantastic and I was right the lamb and ricewas cooked to perfection. Wow it was me and my hubby?s first time eating there today, and wooow loved it ! We got the two person dish and it came w lamb... chops, chicken, and some other meat. This place is such a gem on Central. They have the nicest employees that treat you like family and the menu is big enough to... make everyone happy but not overwhelming. Whenever I order from my work down the road, I am the envy of all and the hero tothose I share with. My usual is the chicken shawarma on Lebanese bread with extra garlic sauce. That. Garlic. Sauce. I could eatit everyday on everything. They have my husband?s favorite baklava he has had in all of the Midwest. Please choose this placeover the chain restaurants on Central. Stopped by on a drive back into town and was pretty impressed by the quality and hospitality. The cashier was to-the-point when... taking my order, but was friendly and gave some recommendations. As it happened, I was in the mood for some chicken shawarma,and they did not disappoint. Out came a fresh entree plate with tender chicken with a fair spice blend and saffron rice, allseasoned with fresh parsley. Especially with a side, the food was enough for two meals and I certainly took a box home. My onlyregret was not trying the Baklava: it looked delicious, yet I had no room left.
