Very disappointed! We went on a Saturday afternoon about 20 minutes after they opened. We were seated quickly but that was the... only positive thing to come out of our visit. After being seated, the waitress came by and said I will be with you shortly. Whenshe came back to take our drink order, we told her we would like to go ahead and order our food as well. We placed our drinkorder, which was 3 flights and a glass of wine, and our food order. We then proceeded to wait over an hour for our food ordrinks to come to the table. People around us were seated and served their food and wine, while we still did not even have ourdrinks. Eventually, the waitress brought our food and looked at us and said you have no drinks. We stated that if she would havecome by the table and checked on us, she would have seen there were no drinks. The waitress stated that she was going to gocheck on the drinks and started to walk away with the food. We asked her if she could leave the food when she went. We ordered asteak salad, 2 chicken Florentine sandwiches and one breaded fish sandwich, all of which were cold. It was clear that the foodhad been sitting in the back. We also did not have silverware or napkins. While we were waiting, one of us went to the bar toget silverware. While at the bar, I overheard the bartender complaining to guests at the bar that she could not take care ofthem yet because she had to get this drink order out first (it was our order). There was no silverware at the bar, and I wastold that the waitress would bring it when she brought back the drinks, when we did get our drinks, we were never told whenglass contained which wine. Once the waitress returned to the table, I asked to speak to a manager. I was told there is nomanagement there! I asked for our bill which we were able to take care of on our phones and not have to wait. We were neverapologized to for waiting, cold food nothing. Well when I first got there waitress came and brought us our water and my glass had a Nat in my water.... I pointed it out to... her and she never made no comment no apologies or anything! ....I thought she would bring me a fresh glass of water neverreturned with an exchange or an apology still yet, I asked for a new waitress and i had ordered my meal ordered the 8 oz steakand mashed potatoes and green beans and when I received my meal my steak was really dry and the mashed potatoes was old and drythe green beans was so stringy and wilted they looked old!! I was so excited to come and have a good meal at this restaurantthat I had been there previously before covid...... The food was scrumptious and I couldn't wait to return and I brought mygirlfriend with me and I was so excited for her to experience the same experience., I had with the scrumptious food that I hadand it turned out horrible!! I was never so disappointed with my meal..... you have a very beautiful facility there.. I enjoyedsetting there and looking out at the lake and the Beautiful scenery that you have there!!....... I'm sorry that I have to writeand tell you about this situation.... I'm not the type of person that complains until it is totally unbearable, I'm sorry to sayI probably won't return, and I come to Shaker woods every year and I really enjoyed your facility and the atmosphere and thefood the last time I was there it was unbelievably scrumptious! I really wanted to like this place. I tried 2 wines. Neither were better than the wine I can get at the gas station on the way... home. I wanted to try a different one but, they were out. Our service was not good and it wasn't that busy. Our food waslackluster and my husband's Flatbread looked like they just overturned a can of mushrooms on it. The scenery and patio werenice! We decided to sit there because the inside smelled like generic wood scented air freshener. The tables had umbrellas whichwas great but they weren't secured properly. We had to stop ours from knocking over the table several times. A different groupwasn't so lucky and their umbrella did fall. It was barely a strong breeze. Wonderful the staff is amazing. I asked them to help me celebrate my Wife and I's wedding anniversary. They helped me get... flowers delivered and made sure they were on the table when we arrived. A wonderful mothers day dinner food was different an very good. Servers were great. No long lines to wait in everything moved... smoothly. Dessert was brownies cookies an cupcakes. Nicely displayed but not my favorite. The food was great.they had water onthe table lovely glasses was very enjoyable thank you for an affordable meal for my mom an I. Group of six on the covered patio. Noise level was over 90 DB making cross table conversation impossible. Heavy weather blew... thru so doors were lowered making noise louder. Several in group brought wine. Bottling was easy. A variety of food ordered, allserved promptly. Servings medium large. We brought our dessert and it was delivered to the table. Our server, Michaela, was ajoy. Pleasant and helpful. The noise was a real issue. Food and service was fine but unless you are a small (2-3) group, don'tplan on talking. Oh, Vinyard in name only. Really beautiful setting. We sat on the patio and watched a wedding while overlooking the lake. The food was pretty good... although the options were limited. Then the live music started and I felt like we could have stayed for another hour. Servicewas ok and the wine was really enjoyable. I'd go back again as this was a positive experience. The indoor seating seemed limitedbut the atmosphere was nice. Read more
