I do like the food here, but the processes could be improved. I placed a "Rapid Rescue" online order, which was supposed to be... ready at 2:05 pm. I left with my food at 2:18. They were NOT busy. They prepared my order and left it BEHIND the counter. Iwasn't able to just pick it up without engaging employees. I assumed maybe they had been busy until i got there. But I noticedthat literally everyone left and went on break at the same time. So then I asked about my order. An employee picked it up andgave it to me. Then another employee questioned him saying "are the cookies in there?" He responded "yes, they are in there." Ichecked the order and they were not there. Then the employee informed me that they were out of chocolate chip cookies butoffered me something else. You tell me, was this handled properly? As much as I do like the food here, I will NOT be returningto this location. I will drive out of my way to avoid this place. There has to be a system in place to handle orders when allordered items are not available. And the process shouldn't be leave the order behind the counter and then act like everything isthere. Firehouse subs is pretty decent for a fast food place. Much better quality food than a Subway or blimpy. The service on average... is better as well. My daughter had the hook and ladder which she enjoyed and I like the brisket on whole wheat. They have thedrink machine that lets you make a million different choices of Coke products which is nice. When you say "only" numerous times so you don't get lettuce, tomato, onion, mayonnaise or sometimes mustard, and it's even... repeated back to you, and yet somehow that's all you get... 2 stars because this "only" happens about 1 out of every 4 visits.I've tried "plain" before when ordering the club, only to get shorted the bacon, sometimes the cheese as well. I've even triedlisting the items above as "no x,y,z" to be corrected that I really "only" want other toppings. If there is a secret way to"only" get certain toppings, I have yet to find it. Worse New York Steamer ever. About 1/2 the meat that is normally on a medium sub. The meat had a lot of fat. My sandwich was not... up to par with Firehouse usual quality. Read more
