This is only my 2nd visit. The first was when the restaurant first opened. The atmosphere is what kept me away so long. It was... cold outside when we went, so we sat inside for dinner on a Saturday night. They were packed, service was slow (they were newand really busy) and it was so very loud inside. Today, I went with friends, we sat outside and there weren't many people there.I ordered the Cazuela Bowl with shrimp - it was so good! It was full of fresh veggies and had wonderful flavor. The food and wait staff are outstanding! However, someone has decided that it?s a smart idea for a busy family restaurant to get... rid of almost all of the high chairs. There were six tables with people in the restaurant, but all 3 (yes, they only have 3)high chairs were in use! We had to wait over half an hour for high chairs to be freed up. Although the food and wait staff weregreat, the lack of high chairs will make it hard for us (and many other families) to keep frequenting Pure. I guess they don?twant families as customers. We?ve been consistent customers for years, the service is ALWAYS slow but the food and drinks are yummy. Officially won?t return... thanks to the manager who HUMILIATED us after already ordering appetizer & multiple rounds of drinks, while in the middle ofeating our entrees. She had plenty of time beforehand to address her concerns including the time she literally came up to ourtable to check on us. She also gave no solution to her complaints and lied about being the only manager working, according tomore than one server on duty. We were looking to try something new and craving tacos, so after hearing good recommendations online about Pure Taqueria we... decided to give it a try - and I'm glad we did! The atmosphere was inviting and has a very modern, cool feel to it. Service wasa little slow - like it took forever for someone to bring us waters or take our drink order, and once our food was delivered,she never really came back to check on us and it took a while to get the ticket. The menu is interesting and has many differenttypes of dishes available - very different and appealing! It's not your traditional Americanized type of Mexican restaurant, andI only say that to say that you shouldn't go here expecting that. It's not really like a creative/street tacos kind of placeeither...more upscale and authentic, I would say, with definitely some eclectic options. Chips and salsa are a MUST - the chipswere homemade and the 2 varieties of salsa served were delicious! (Not free, but worth the expense! Again, I mention this justbecause it was somewhat out of the norm.) We ordered premium margaritas as well, and they were delicious, but I felt like theywere small for the price. They had a decent menu of different drinks and a sufficient beer selection. My boyfriend and I bothhad seafood dishes which were unexpected and wonderful - quite healthy portion sizes as well! We were actually seated in like alittle side room and would have really enjoyed the unexpected privacy of that, but one of the workers spent an inordinate amountof time in there with us - just kind of wandering about, like randomly fluffing pillows and semi-sweeping or straightening - notserving us or interacting with us or anything. It was just almost like they didn't want us to be alone or unsupervised? Kindaput a weird vibe to things, but that was really all there was to mention as far as negatives go. Can be an amazing stop to eat. Flavorful food. However, if ordering through their online service expect the salsa to be watery.... You might as well go inside and pick up the food, because their curbside service will have you waiting for fifteen to twentyminutes regardless if your food is ready. Read more

Pure quickly became one of my favorites after visiting once. I love the layout and option of outdoor but still indoors dining.... Reminds me of bareburger back home. The menu had so many tasty options. The food tasted so deliciously amazing and came outsuper fast. Our drinks were perfectly mixed, and our waiter was attentive and had a great smile.
