Well, this was our 2nd time here and sad to say, most likely the last. 1st time was was not the best 1st time experience. Went... in and was 'greeted' with a "Can I help you?!" ( Kinda like you would do, when finding someone wondering in your backyard ). Weproceeded to stay and found that the food, was about as warm as the initial 'greeting'. Everything, and I mean everything, wasluke warm. The chicken was at least hot. Salad and drinks, were cold. We figured that maybe this was the case by coming in laterin the lunch hours. Nope 2nd time we went, at least the greeting was pleasant. We went in a few minutes after they opened andbamm! Same food temperature's. Pizza was at least hot. Definitely NOT going to be a 3rd time. And the server was the same oldabrupt woman. Sorry ma'am, but when you are treated by someone using their manners, respond with the like. I do not care whatbridge you were born under. Read more

The salad bar is very good. The pasta bar is also good. They have a pizza bar which is good. Fried chicken legs. Chicken... fingers, French fries, mashed potatoes & gravy, corn, a taco & nacho bar. 2 kinds of Soup. Dessert bar, & ice cream. It's not asmuch to choose from as the one in Norfolk. That Buffet is AMAZING! I wish as many of our friends have voiced, that the Columbusbuffet would add more Ike the Norfolk Valentinos. Good place to eat. Read more
Our family likes to stop at "Val's" when we're in Nebraska. The food is fine as far as buffets go- fried chicken usually tasty... and crunchy, pizza- a step below Godfather's & the Hut. Lasagna, ok. I mean, no one is under the illusion that you're going toeat I-talian food, right? It's pizza buffet. It's local. It's on the cheap and the kids get ice cream at the end. One thing thatmakes everything appetizing is clean dishes, though. Our we're not. I'll include a picture. It's not the fault of thedishwasher- it's management being cheap. This is by far the best restaurant in the whole world. i?ve never had better service anywhere. the staff were amazing and the... food couldn?t of tasted better. Audriona was a amazing waitress. she took care of us so well. The kitchen girl with blonde hairwas so good at putting food out. she always made the sure the food was fresh. the host aleah was so good at cleaning all thetables and was kind when cashing us out. i definitely recommend coming here. I got there for lunch when they first opened for the buffet. The pizza was cold, but the rest of the food taste great. My issue... is the $18.27 they charged me for a soda and buffet. I was alone also so that fee was just for one person. RIPOFF! Read more
