AJs is by far our fav spot for Mexican food. Even though we live 40 minutes away, the trip is always worth it! One of top items... on the menu for us is any of their tacos made Cali style which adds pico de gallo and guacamole. You can tell the quacamole ismade fresh each day as it has little chunks of avocado and has a fresh green look... excellent stuff. Of course AJs is alsoknown for their fantastic birria dishes. The birria ramen and quesabirria tacos are top notch and my wife who's a grilledcheese fanatic loves the birria grilled cheese. If you've not tried AJ's you're missing out! They're on West Broad St byWilson and sets next to the Keg tavern. If it's hot or cold outside , you can take your AJs order into the keg and order a sodaor adult beverage...the keg welcomes the business. Read more

Food was fresh and full of rich flavors. One bite into the Quesabirria Taco dipped in the sauce and the feet started tapping!!... Beef was seasoned impeccably and super tender. We went to AJs Tacos on the hunt for birria. It is a little food truck outside the Keg Room bar. I spent $23.50 & we got 4... quesabirria tacos, 2 birria sliders and a consome. It was DELICIOUS. Lots of meat and cheese not spicy at all. The consomedidn't have a ton of flavor but was excellent to dip the tacos in. I highly recommend giving this place a try. Make sure theyare open before making the trip. Read more
