Ava moved into the building next to where the truck was 2 weeks ago and it was a great experience. Very traditional style menu,... simple and executed beautifully. I can confirm this is truly authentic Jamaican flavor. I felt like I was in Jamaica for a second. The service was very... welcoming. Could smell the aroma of the ?escovitch fish? aka (dish where fried fish is topped with spicy sauce & pickledvegetable medley) that I ordered while it was being prepared. Overall, my meal was tantalizing. Next will be the oxtail andchicken from here. Would definitely recommend for anyone wanting to try Jamaican food. Read more

This establishment by far is the best Jamaican Restaurant ???????? in Columbus. I usually get the oxtails, rice and peas,... cabbage, and plantains. The oxtails are tender and full of flavor, the rice and peas are on point, the cabbage cooked toperfection, and the plantains are sweet...not to mention the side of hot sauce...this is one of my favorite meals....complimentthis meal with a Topo Chico...I 100% highly recommend this restaurant. This place is amazing! The flavor on the jerk chicken is absolutely FIRE. Ava has set up great prices and is very friendly &... quick. Go support your local entrepreneur and enjoy the taste of the island! I got the jerk chicken burrito which wasmassive!!!! I tried the Cajun fries which were tasty. Me and my mom went a few days ago. There is only two tables inside that allow two people per table. You walk up to a window to... place your order. The menu is very hard to read as it looked old and torn up. I got the Jamaican jerk. The chicken is bone inwhich I'm not a fan of. The food was good but felt more like a $5 lunch then a $15 lunch. Also you have to purchase your drinkseparately. The lady was nice and quick about getting us our food and did allow us to try the cabbage before adding it into ourfood. I wouldn't go back mostly due to the lack of value for the price paid. Read more
