RUN, don't walk to Elena's. One of the best dining experiences I've had in Columbus. Everything was so fresh. The BEST Russian... dumplings. You don't even need the sour cream. Lemon blueberry pancakes were on point. They knocked the British breakfast out ofthe park. And the dressing for the beet salad was perfection! Everything we ordered was so damn good. The quality of the dishes is insane. Everything felt like it was made from scratch and... piping hot The wait time is a little longer than we've become accustomed to in a fast paced world but the food is so worth thewait. Was seated immediately. Food took a while but the cooking times were listed on the menu so we already had a very good idea of... wait time. Waitress was friendly and frequently came by to check on us. Place wasn't super busy, two other tables of patronswhen we arrived, another three tables came in while we were there. This restaurant is so cute and the staff is very attentive. All the breakfast options are delicious. However, what stole the... show was the Russian Dumplings. The meat was so tender and flavorful without being overpowering. I want to pick these littledumplings up every day on my way home. My husband and I came in for breakfast today and left stuffed and happy! The cafe is so colorful and open - it has such an... upbeat vibe. The menu is full of incredible options, it was so hard to decide what to try so we filled our little table withlots of options! The English breakfast, candied bacon, California eggs Benedict and one lemon ricotta pancake. Everything wasdelicious! The lemon ricotta pancake was a dream, like having cheesecake for breakfast!
