Dinner was delicious! We ordered several items to share because there was so much we wanted to try and nothing... disappointed. Their curries are so flavorful and can be ordered to your spice preference, I recommend the mango curry! Weordered lamb chops which were grilled with a bit of char and seasoned perfectly. Chicken 65 was so good, fried boneless chickenpieces with a unique bmend of seasonings and mint or tamarind chutney to dip. Can't wait to go back with more friends foranother great experience! One of the best chicken tikka masala I've had in Columbus, so it's a shame that everything else I got was downright... terrible. The chicken 65 seemed like boneless buffalo chicken bites you might get in the freezer aisle at target with someextra red dye and totally lacked any spiciness normally associated with it. The chicken corn soup had some good flavors but itseems like they put similarly sad cut up chicken tenders -- breading and all -- into the soup. So there were soggy bits ofbreading in the soup creating a massive texture issue. If they would have just used regular bits of chicken it probably wouldhave been fine. Read more
i ordered the fish biriyani and it was very good. they had it ready when i went to pick it up. my only issue was they charge you... a 1.60 extra for takeout, which doesn't make sense and when i had asked the employee about it, she brushed the question off. Read more
Went their first time, they kept it clean. The interior was nice. Madras coffee is authentic must try. Food is a little above... average. We ordered chole puri, and the puri was dripping oil. Garlic naan was soft and good. One nice thing is that they sellspices and masala in store, incase if you need some basic authentic masala for indian cooking. We will definitely give anothertry because we never know, the other items may be very good. Read more
We placed an order for delivery. Before placing the order, I called and spoke to a lady asking if they can make two of the... dishes not spicy as it would be children. They obliged and made them as requested. The Lemon Rice and Chicken Manchurian wasgood - the not spicy dishes as requested (especially the Lemon Rice had plenty of flavor). We also had Chicken 65 and ChickenBiryani. The Chicken 65 was good - we normally dip it in the cucumber yogurt - lots of flavor. The Chicken Biryani had just theright amount of spiciness and had lot of good flavor (plus the chicken was very tender). We will definitely be ordering again -but will call before placing our order. We came here with family, tried their pakoras and samosa chaat. It was not good food at all. The staff is very welcoming and... kind but the quality of food is the worst. We ended up spending around $80 here for 4 samosa chaat plates, it was not worth atall. There is no taste no freshness and no quality in food. It was waste of time and money. Great food and amazing service. Ordered off the lunch menu and it came in a platter form with various sides and offerings. It... was plenty of food and really good value. I ordered chicken saag and was a little hesitant because it wasn't as thick as I'mused to, but it tasted pretty freaking good. My partner got some sort of curry and it was really good too. We both ordered Hotand it was spicy but not too spicy. When we asked for to go boxes she gave us a little extra rice and naan to take home <3Happy to have a good indian place nearby, highly recommended!! Read more
We have had Dakshin before but this time was incredibly underwhelming to say the least. My curry was watery…literally looked... like broth — and that paired with overcooked chicken resulted in a complete waste of money.
