I tried this Indian food today for the first time and it wasn't bad. I can say I've had some other Indian restaurants where I... could taste the difference between the dishes. I got the chicken curry which wasn't terrible but the chicken chunks were toolarge and the sauce could not be absorbed. The goat biriyani rice was plain but the Naan was rather delicious. Place was definitely a hole in the wall (not a bad thing) which I love. Food was great, you could tell it was the real deal.... Fresh naan, home made samosas. The only thing I noticed is that they were used to people (not their ethnicity) ordering food andassumed you wanted the more Americanized version. This is a spartan place mostly for carry outs in a slightly run down neighborhood close to Hollywood casino. The cuisine is... Pakistani-Indian-Afghani whatever you call it. It’s so spartan that they don’t even serve or ask for water. However ifneeded you can pick up a complimentary bottle of water. Anyway, many people miss the unwritten rule. Food was good if not great.Quantity was good. Observed that most of the customers were ordering pick up for biriyani. We ordered lamb kebab, chicken kebaband fish kadai.
